Cozy, relaxing getaway
My wife and I and our dog spent three weeks at this lovely home and enjoyed every minute. Beth is the most hospitable and helpful host one could ever ask for. We were greeted by fresh flowers, delicious doughnuts, and dog treats. Beth also went above and beyond by providing wonderful recommendations for things to do in the area, restaurants, beaches, hiking trails, and more. The house is so comfortable and very clean. We took advantage of the indoor hot tub and lap pool almost every day we were there. What a treat! Our dog had a great time playing in the fenced-in back yard too! Great location -- close to Portland, as well as beaches, state parks, and local restaurants. Located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood where we took walks every day. We hope to return for another memorable vacation!

Great solo trip for R & R
I found this listing while searching for a place that I could travel to alone, and that had amenities at the property where I could pamper myself. This was a wonderful, private, safe home with a fantastic sunroom, hot tub, pool and sauna. The temps were in the 20's when I visited, but I could hang out there on a sunny day in my bathing suit and feel warm enough. I also scheduled an in-home massage to top it all off. All in all, a great experience with many small personal touches.

From the moment we walked in the door, we wanted for nothing. Everything was exceptional! Our host, Beth left us a basket of goodies (donuts from Holy Donut and chips made in Maine) and made us feel very welcome and right at home. We cannot wait to plan our next getaway!

When we say this place was perfect.. it is an understatement! It was everything we expected and so much more. Beth was great and left us and our pup special local treats! A lovely place
My husband and I really had a great relaxing vacation and renting this property for the week really helped with that. The manager always got back with me within hours if I had a question and had no odd requests for us. They will send you instruction videos to show you how to work the many amenities they have at the house, but like I said if you have a question not covered in the videos you can message through the VRBO app and your question will be answered very quickly. They had lists of local places to visit and a map laid out if you want to take a scenic drive and look at the local beaches and lighhouses. They also provided a few local snacks as a welcome gift. All in all me and my husband will be returning to Portland in the future and if we can get this property again we 100% will. Higly highly recommend.

Wonderful stay!
Can’t say enough about this home and host, Beth. Everything was as described and more in this home to enjoy a relaxing get away. Beth anticipates your every need and is quick to answer any questions you may have before and during your stay. So thoughtful to leave some treats as a welcome including a fresh bowl of water for our dog, who very much appreciated after a long ride. Best birthday trip! Already planning another stay.

Amazing Anniversary Vacation in Vacationland
My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary with a trip to Maine, our first time and there and we fell in love with this wonderful state. Staying at Beth and Victor's lovely home, was beyond wonderful. The house is immaculately clean and very comfortable. Some house highlights are the phenomenal shower in the bathroom, plenty of USB charging areas and of course the pool and spa in the sunroom, which my husband enjoyed each morning as he is an early riser. It also came in handy after a long day of sight seeing and shopping to relax our old bones for the next day's adventures. Beth provides details of things to do in the area, the mapped out lighthouse trip was great. She provides an amazing experience for her guests and checks in to make sure things are good. Her suggestions for dining were wonderful to have as a guide and the treats she has as a welcome to her home and Maine were very yummy. I would definitely stay again upon my return to Maine and highly recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking to stay in the Portland area, you won't be sorry, it's FABULOUS!!!

Best VRBO experience ever
We have used VRBO all over the world and our stay at Beth's lovely house was far and away the best. Everything was even better than advertised. The house is welcoming and spotless, on a quiet, residential street. Close to hiking trails and an easy drive to the beach as well as an easy drive into Portland. There's a big, private back yard with a gas grill and a sauna (which we didn't have time to use since we had a busy weekend). Beth left some delicious pastries for us to enjoy. The kitchen was well stocked with the cooking essentials I've usually had to go out and buy. The linens and towels were luxurious and the Turkish towels were so great that I actually ordered some for home. The beds were very comfortable. The water features: hot tub and lap pool, both in a sunny 'greenhouse' room in the back of the house were inviting (but again we did n't have a chance to use them this time). The sun room was a lovely place to sit and relax. Beth is a responsive host and lovely to interact with. Our arrival was seamless. There is an amazing shower that will make you feel like you're in a luxury spa, with shampoo, conditioner and body wash conveniently nearby and robes and more towels than you can possibly ever use. Bottom line -this is a wonderful place which sets the bar very high for our next VRBO property.

Restorative!

Mother’s Day Treat!
I and my two sons (ages 19 and 26) enjoyed staying at Beth’s ultra-comfortable home over Mother’s Day weekend! It was a real treat! The location was perfect, the scenery is beautiful. We found many things to do for fun outdoors! The house itself is well equipped with everything you need to unwind (whirlpool, sauna, pool) while feeling like ‘home’. The owner couldn’t have been more helpful or responsive to any concerns or questions throughout our stay. We hope to go bask soon, it was just lovely! Thank you Beth!
