Welcome to Caseta Wald by Tiny Away! Located in the middle of nature, in the heart of the Llémena Valley, and one of the best tiny homes in Girona. This tiny house Spain getaway is located on a wildland formed by holm oaks, chestnut trees, oaks, and fig trees adjacent to Llémena River, providing a sanctuary for birds and animals. During hot weather, you can take a refreshing bath in the river, which is just a quick 5-minute walk from the property.

Caseta Wald by Tiny Away is located in the municipality of Sant Martí de Llémena, Girona—known for its stunning medieval architecture, city streets, and full-day tour packages for you to enjoy. It's one of the best tiny homes in the area, perched on higher ground with amazing panoramic views and a shaded area to relax in while admiring the surrounding view.
Located just a 45-minute drive away from Costa Brava along with other attractions such as La Garrotxa, Ermita de Sant Roc, and Banys Àrabs.
A cozy 222-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, a fully equipped kitchen, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the garden around our private house..
Guests can also pay a visit to the ceramic art studio held by the host, by attending a workshop. For reservations, please contact your host in advance to make arrangements; information will be provided when booking the stay.

Caseta Wald by Tiny Away is located 30 mintutes away from the municipality of Sant Martí de Llémena, Girona. A charming city known for its stunning medieval architecture, city streets, and full-day tour packages for you to enjoy. In the surrounding area around the tiny home, guests will find this beautiful city of Girona, known for its old quarters, the colourful houses along the Onyar river, its cathedral as well as other historic sites which are well worth a visit.
The tiny house is also conveniently located just a 45 minutes drive away from Costa Brava, renowned for its Mediterranean beaches, festivals, street parties, famous artists and writers.

Sightseeing
- La Garrotxa is a rural region is 35 minutes away from the tiny home by car. There are many beautiful little villages that have preserved their traditional look with their renovated stone farm houses. In this region we also find the medieval town of Besalú.
- Ermita de Sant Roc is just above the tiny house where you can enjoy panoramic views on a clear day, which is about 40 km away.
- Vall del Llémena is a valley that has multiple places to visit, starting from the tiny home, such as Sant Roc d'Amer, Sant Climent d'Amer, Santa Elena , Santa Brígida, La Barroca, Banya del Boc, Sant Grau. All of them are beautiful spots in the valley, in the heart of nature.
- Passeig arqueològic is an archaeological promenade connected to the Roman walls & featuring gardens & sculptures.
- La Devesa is a large green expanse on the banks of the river Ter in Girona. On Tuesday and Saturday there is a market there, a perfect place to check out local goods and culture.
- Banys Àrabs is one of the best-preserved Middle Ages Baths in this part of Catalonia. A great place for those interested in history, architecture, and engineering. It also offers a rooftop view of Girona.

- Can Joan d’Adri in Canet d’Adri and Can Xifra Vell serves up traditional, hearty Catalan food.
- Cal Ganso Nou de Llorà is a genuine restaurant with delicious homemade food and friendly service. It specializes in grilled fish and meat.
- Can Buch is a restaurant offerings lunch on weekends with organic vegetables grown on site. Vegan options are on offered as well.
- Mas Siubés de Les Planes is a local place with beautiful views, good quality food and reasonable prices.
Food Scene (Girona City)
- Hors Catégorie focuses on healthy food and eats. It's a vegetarian-friendly cycling themed cafe serving specialty coffee as well.
- La Fabrica is a specialty coffee and brunch place. They also have coffee & cocktail and vegan snacks, with bikes on the walls & outdoor seats. A popular place for bikers to stop by and have a bite and rest.
- Casa Moner and La Puntual are artisanal bakeries using quality organic products made using artisanal methods.
Visitors can also enjoy many traditions of the region, such as the "castells" human towers, which are traditionally built up at festivals in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and the Valencian Community. At these events, several colles castelleres (teams that build human towers) attempt to raise one and dismantle it afterward very slowly as it may have reached a height of about 10 m or more.

By public transport:
- Guests can get by bus from Girona, and then have a nice 15 minutes walk to the property.
- Within a 25 min walk, they can get to a restaurant that offers traditional dishes, in Llorà. And by a 30 min walk they can get to Sant Martí de Llémena, the nearest town.
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Recyclable and organic waste buckets are provided to dispose of rubbish
- Locally made oils, creams, soaps, and ceramic jewelry are available for purchase at the on-site shop, with the option to arrange items in advance.
- Feeding our animals is not permitted as this would interfere with their work; also, we ask guests not to leave food unattended
- We also have 2 cats and 2 dogs on the property; our dogs patrol the property for wild boars, which are common in rural areas
- Due to the property's rural location, you may encounter inconveniences such as occasional noise caused by seasonal works in the field
- The BBQ grill and outdoor fire pit are unavailable due to a comprehensive ban on fires in rural areas, prompted by the ongoing drought.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
