Whether you come alone or with your partner or in the group of 4 - you will feel comfortable in this spacious and unique place. 2 queen beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and a choice of hypoallergenic or feather/down duvets; extra twin bed with memory foam mattress is available upon request. Rain shower. Shaw Cable TV & DVD collection, wall-mount Smart TV with Netflix. Fireplace. Well-stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, parking for 1 large or 2 small cars. Walking distance to the warmest ocean beach & Crofton ferry terminal. Good bus connection to other parts of the island. After a day of exploring the island, have a fantastic feast and enjoy fabulous sunsets from the private patio balcony. Breathe the aroma of arbutus trees, rosemary, flowers and RELAX..

Welcome Retreat
This was a delightful condo that was right on point with what was advertised. My husband, daughter and her fiancé spent three wonderful nights here. We had a beautiful view of the ocean, a wonderful balcony with flowers, and plenty of privacy. The bedrooms and baths are nicely situated. We were just minutes from shops and cafes. Elena, our host, made contact with us early and made sure everything was in order. This property is so well kept and clean. It has all the necessary kitchen equipment you will need. The beds were comfy and linens were immaculate. This is an ideal place to stay. We plan to make another visit this year. Thanks again to our wonderful host!

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely consider staying here again if our travels take us back to Salt Spring. A car is necessary though, as it’s about a 10 minute drive to Ganges.

Bright and Clean
We had a great time staying at the apartment in Vesuvius. The check in process was very straightforward and the apartment has everything you need. The location is great and it gives easy access to explore the rest of the island. There was some noise from the ferry terminal construction work through the first night we stayed, which was quite loud but was, of course, no fault of the owner. All in all, I would love to return and spend more time here.

Elena’s was a perfect place for my family and I to stay on the island. It was nice and spacious and very comfortable. The convenience of the ferry to our next destination was wonderful too. Lovely property away from the action of Ganges. Nice unit, property cared with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Coffee and tea are provided and unit has most cooking utensils (pots/pans) you need to make a meal. There is also a bbq if you desire to do some grilling. Would definitely stay again.

A little bit of heaven on Salt Spring Island
Our place was perfect and super clean! There was lots of beautiful light from all the windows with a nice view of the ocean and a great patio to sit out on. It is as very quiet and peaceful here. We were within walking distance of one of the best beaches on the island…with calm, warm ocean water to paddle board or kayak on. There’s a great seafood restaurant with a patio over the water… just a 4 minute walk up the street. Everything is within a small easy to do distance on this island but our condo location was removed enough from the main town of Ganges etc. that we still felt very secluded and out in nature. Our contact person was always available to answer questions and was very good about giving us updates. We would definitely stay here again and of course we love Salt Spring Island and will return again…as has been our custom for many years.

Quiet & Spacious
I was surprised at just how large this condo was. And quiet. Despite it being a long weekend the ferry traffic did not cause any problems accessing the property. Although we did not take advantage of the easy access to Vancouver Island it certainly was a plus. The suite itself was well supplied, very clean, and despite the heat stayed fairly cool. It was nice to have a fan. Also a real bonus to have 2 bathrooms and washer and dryer. Communication with the host was excellent. Thank you Elena.

This property is much better than pictures. Neighbor were so friendly. The place even had soap and shampoo in the showers. Great ocean view close to everything on the island . We really enjoyed this place very homey.
