”We tried booking beachfront hotels but when we saw this place, we instantly knew that it will offer us better accommodation. The view was spectacular from the room. The area was quiet the place feels like home. Very comfortable and to top it off, the delicious homemade breakfast by the owners. They were very accommodating and entertaining at the same time. It was our first time in Paihia and it did not disappoint us. Will definitely book this accommodation on our next visit.”

”Our experience with ‘Moongate villa’ was disappointing because on our 2nd day, some building works began next door which woke us up at 8.00am in the morning and the cement pouring and flattening machines started working. It’s no exaggeration to say that the whole of our building vibrated to the machines being used. As for the noise all of this created, it was horrendous! The owners of ‘Moongate villa’ agreed to give us 1 x night free of charge. Please confirm that you can refund us this back...

You need a car to stay here, because it is a 15 minute drive into the main township. I was a bit disappointed with the location because I expected it to be closer to the water than what it was, and what the photo suggested. This was minor though, because having a car obviousy made it easy to get to places.”
