”Amazing accommodations! We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Everyone had their own room which was ideal. Communication was seamless and easy. Close to Whole Foods and many other shops. Short walk to Red line subway which took us easily and quickly to downtown Chicago and all the attractions. The building had other common spaces like an outdoor terrace with grills, seating and a fire pit. We also took advantage of the fitness center. We would stay here again.”

Food is not a problem since there is a Korean grocery nearby. There is also a nearby Catholic church. The ameneties in this loft hotel is complete so if you are looking for a budget style trip and accommodation, I highly recommend this place.”

”Loved the location of the property, with plenty of free parking, convenient to public transportation into Chicago. The room had a kitchenette and washer/dryer combo, both of which were very nice to have. We didn't try the free breakfast but that's a great perk, too. It was clean and safe and we'd definitely stay there again.”

”The code that was provided was incorrect. I was so anxious waiting outside the building until I was lucky that other guests were out and helped me get in. I tried reaching the “24/7” line but no response until a while and they had to reset everything before I was able to get in. First and last time I will be staying here. The bed is so small for even one person and the bathroom lights felt like a ghost was there. Do not book here, your anxiety will be through the roof !”

"Generally speaking, we had a wonderful stay! The window seats were a BIG hit for us all and we spent many hours sitting in them, watching people, cars and boats. The location could not be beat and we were able to walk just about everywhere. The river is literally steps away. If you're booking a suite, paying extra for the river view is absolutely worth it! However, advertising the suite as suitable for 4 adults is a joke. We were travelling with 2 adults + 1 child (12 y/o) and it was just about okay for us. I tested the sofa bed and I would NOT be happy to sleep in it, let alone have 2 adults share it. It was very creaky and not supportive at all, but for one child under teenage years, it worked. Bring earplugs as the riverwalk does attract party people at all hours (constant drumming throughout the night) and the streets have non-stop traffic, including emergency vehicles. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to pick another location. We will be happy to return to L7 the next time we're in Chicago!"
