”The cottage was spotless, the shower was wonderful and the bed very comfortable. The kitchen had all I needed to cook a meal which I appreciated. The experience was bliss.”

”Great location but the whole place needs a good tidy up. Its like a building site. If this had been an overseas package holiday i would have rung the rep. The gardens are full of items strewn all over. Do you check out these cottages or just write what the owner gives you. Stinks of mis-representation to me!!!! The bins were put out on Monday and werent returned till Thursday so the pedal bins were inside in hot weather, one of the owners promised them back on Wednesday but it didn't happen.....

”The bedroom was really old, tired and dirty. It didn’t look as advertised, and I was disappointed. It was very dusty, particularly on lamps and surfaces. The wardrobe also didn’t open properly. The sheets on the bed were ripped at the side seams, and had stains on them. I phone several times in advance of booking to enquire about breakfast in the room, and everyone I spoke to was so unhelpful. I was trying to arrange room service because my friend was getting married and we needed to eat on...

”Good basic accommodation at reasonable value. Not a modern property, bathrooms somewhat dated, bed a little creaky, but all the basics you need and good space in the room. Nothing chargeable to your room (?) Eg adding breakfast or a drink at the bar pay at the time, but no cash taken. Satisfactory, without being special in any way.”
