Romantic Getaway Cabin with Hot Tub and wi-fi

Rustic Romance sleeps 2 people and is a luxury scenic cabin rental located in a wooded setting a stone's throw from Natural Bridge State Park and Red River Gorge in Magnolia Village at Scenic Heights. The wood burning fireplace and hot tub make it the perfect scenic cabin rental for your romantic getaway. You can rest and relax on the screened porch while grilling out. There is a wonderful winding stairway to a loft bedroom with a king bed and a private balcony. The kitchen is complete with all cooking utensils needed, microwave, coffee maker, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is satellite television, books and board games available. The guests may bring one pet.
PLEASE NOTE THAT CHECK IN IS AT OUR OFFICE AND DIRECTIONS WILL BE SENT WITH YOUR CONFIRMATION.

Great Location
This cabin had all that we needed. We spent our time hiking the trails and ate most meals out. Upon our arrival I was informed the AC went out that day so they offered us a fan and $100 back on our stay. With the cooler weather I assumed this would be ok. Unfortunately, the upstairs does not have any windows that open so it was very warm. I expected that they would send someone out to see if they could get it going while we stayed but it seemed as the $100 was all they where willing to do. The cabin could use a good spring cleaning lots of dust and messes in corners. Overall I am not bothered by this when staying in the Gorge, but think it would be nice to see it a little cleaner when paying a cleaning/service fee. I would stay here again, it was set up well for my wife an I. The staff at the office was amazing and would recommend using this company to anyone going to stay in the area!

Excellent weekend getaway
The cabin is close to all the attractions that Red River Gorge offers. Its rustic, clean and has a wooded view. The fireplace was great each night. The bed is very comfortable! My only recommendation is to mention the spiral staircase would not be recommended for anyone with leg or knee issues. They are steep and the hand rail is loose and wobbles when holding onto it. There is a large opening that a small child could fall thru very easily. I loved the screened in porch and the hot tub was nice. The upstairs balcony needs some repair as some of the boards seem loose. (I did not go out there as it did not appear safe) I did love the location! I would definately stay here again.

The property was not maintained very well for the cost. Boards were falling off the foundation covering, the stairs were covered in moss, railings were split and broken, window was broken, and grill advertised was not there. On the inside the floor was covered with dead flies and there were live flies, bees, and wasps covering the windows and flying around. The stairway railing was neat but dangerous. The mattress in the bed had a hole that you got stuck in. Definitely needed replaced. Dishes were old, chipped, didn't match, and the pans were unusable. The hot tub did not have a cleaning floater, smelled like mildew, control panel was about to fall off and was difficult to push, cover was heavy, ripped, and mildewy. For the price a night, rustic doesn't mean dirty, unkept, and unmaintained.

Beautiful rustic weekend getaway to celebrate 10 years of marriage.
Property was somewhat secluded, nestled in a wooded area. Cabin was beautiful and perfectly sized for my husband and I to enjoy our anniversary. The hot tub was a great way to relax. Customer service was remarkable. We enjoyed close by activities such as the Gorge Underground (Kayaking and boat tours), Miguel’s Pizza, Daniel Boone’s coffee shop and the breathtaking views from the Natural Bridge and overlooks. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic place for a getaway
Great location with lots to do. Great place to hang out if you want to stay in. Kitchen is well equipped, furnishings are nice. Place could use some minor maintenance but nothing that caused us any issues.

Anniversary Weekend
We had a great weekend at the property. We met a lady at the rental office who was very personable and made the process quick and easy. It was a great space for just the 2 of us. We loved the hottub and screened in porch. As other people may have mentioned, it would be nice to have a bit more curtains or blinds based on the positioning of the tub and the neighboring house, but we just used the cover to help shield the area as best we could. The stairs going to the bedroom area are absolutely beautiful but could be a bit hazardous so beware for anyone who has mobility issues.

We really enjoyed ourselves at the cabin. It was everything we were looking for and then some. With a great deck and screened in porch. It provided a nice and private feeling. The hot tub was the best for coming home from a hike or just enjoying coffee in the morning while watching all of the different birds. The indoor fireplace was perfecter us, especially with the rain we had on one day. We do plan to come back.

Relaxing Get Away
It was a very nice cabin. The area was nice. They are building other homes around the property so woke up to a lot of construction noise at 8 a.m. The only thing that I didn't like is the spiral staircase. It had too much space between the railings and it was scary going up with luggage because if you tripped you could easily fall through the space to the bottom level. Seems dangerous to me. But other than those two things it was a nice stay. I was able to get some rest.

I should have stayed home
Arriving to the property was I little disappointing do to the weather and getting another cabin without a wood burning fireplace but I was going with the flow because of the weather so was tired when arriving so went to bed. Woke up the next day and couldn't find the wifi code which is normally in plain view but looked everywhere and no luck messaged the manager with no answer then later in the evening was going to use the hot tub and to my surprise it was so dirty 😳 I was shocked!! Mold or algae in the filter and jets dirt in the bottom of the tub looked as if not cleaned for weeks. I was so disappointed and pissed off because the point of coming there is to relax and unwind and it turned into an exercise in patience. Then had a flat when walking out to leave. By the end of the stay I just wished we would have stayed home.

Decent cabin if you like older cabins
The cabin was nice and overall clean. The bed was a bit soft for me but not a deal breaker. The shower and bathroom are on the main floor which makes it a bit inconvenient if you have to use it in the middle of the night. It was bit weird when at check in we were given a bag of chlorine to dump into the hot tub upon arrival. I thought it should be ready to go for us but it was also not deal breaker. The scenery was nice and we saw turkey vultures each morning.

This is a beautiful cabin for two! Perfect for an extended weekend getaway. The hot tub was the best has me thinking I need one of my own! The cabin had everything we needed to cook meals and not have to eat our!

Rustic Romance Cabin
The proximity of this cabin to the Red River Gorge trails and Natural Bridge state park was excellent. The cabin was clean and nice. This is a great cabin for my elderly dog because it has so few steps to enter and the dirt road and land around it was good for short walks. The A/C did not reach the second floor which made the bedroom very hot. I think it would be a nice place for spring or fall visit but was hot for summer sleeping. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The the cabin mentions a fold out bed on second floor landing but it was very uncomfortable. I would consider this a one bedroom cabin. Unfortunately the internet was not working while we were there which meant the television did not work either. The rental company was very quick to come out and investigate the problem and get in touch with the internet company. The internet company sent out a service technician who found the the line had been cut due to construction at the front of the company and could not be repaired until the next week (after our departure). This was totally out of control of the rental company and they did their best to remedy the situations quickly. The cabin was in a quiet and peaceful setting. I'm not sure what it will be like in the future because around the cabin there were 5 new cabins being built so I imagine it will have less of a remote feel in the future.

Great get away!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and quiet and the cabin was located in a convenient spot. The cabin itself was nice, however the bed was terrible. The mattresses needs to be replaced. It was very soft and uncomfortable. The only other thing I could say is that the check in proceed would be nice if there was a keypad on the front door and the day before arrival you would email the address and directions to the cabin. ❤️ the location, hiking, restaurants…great area and will probably be back in the future.

Nice but 2 issues
My Fiancé and I stayed in this cabin May 2022. When we first got there, it seemed very clean and well taken care of. I only have 2 complaints for the whole stay, other than that it was a great experience. This place has a big ant problem. After the first night, we had ants all over the top of the fridge and climbing on the walls (where I am guessing they were coming in from). The other issue was the hot tub. It worked great and what not but the temperature is insanely high. It was set to 105 degrees which is actually not even safe. In the packet it says if you change the temperature then you can get fined for it so we had to keep it at 105 and could not even really enjoy the hot tub which was a big reason we chose this place. So look past those two and it was nice. Bed was comfortable, TVs worked, good directions how to get there, great dining area outside for a mimosa and breakfast! Just unfortunate because of the ants and hot tub.

Fantastic getaway!
We enjoyed our getaway to the Rustic Romance and are already planning our next visit in a few months! The hot tub and fireplace made for a wonderfully relaxing weekend! The property was conveniently located and close to Natural Bridge and RRG, as well as a few nearby restaurants. My only complaint was that the bed has a super deep mattress that the sheets didn’t fit and wouldn’t stay on. When we stay again we’ll bring our own deep fitted sheet. Otherwise, the bed was comfy, kitchen had the basics we needed including coffee filters and dish soap, cabin was clean, and we enjoyed the satellite/smart TV.

One year Anniversary trip
Me and my wife booked this for our one year anniversary. We loved the rustic look and feel to this cabin. King size bed was very comfy. Water pressure isnt the best but we made it work.. needs to be more space for bathroom stuff. Like maybe a shelf or two. Stairs are beautiful but scary at first going down them. Liked the secluded feel while also being close to everything we wanted to do. The Gorge underground was a blast. Loved having the screened in porch. the hot tub didnt work when we went to get in it but they had it fixed next day so we were able to enjoy it on our last night. Overall I would recommend this cabin. We had a blast and made some wonderful memories together. Everyone was very nice and friendly also.. definitely plan on coming back.

This cabin was very quaint,cozy, and romantic. Property was quiet and hot tub was very nice. The porches could have been a little cleaner and the spiral staircase was difficult to navigate. We enjoyed our stay.
