”Very accommodating, comfy beds (a real +). Kitchen fully loaded with supplies (including spices and condiments). We spent so much time down on the dock crabbing and fishing. Our dogs loved the freedom and space. Made friends with others in the area and did dog walks with them.”

”The beach area was beautiful. Good fishing. The house was nice. The only observation I have would be to move the queen bed. The ceiling is very low in that area. We both hit our heads pretty hard in the beginning.”

”During our stay at The Pearl, we encountered our own boat issues, but the hosts were extremely helpful. Their communication was above and beyond!! The people on the island were also extremely helpful, and they went out of their way to help in any way they could. They all truly wanted us to have a great experience on Smith Island. The Pearl had everything we needed for our stay, and there was plenty of room for us. We took our pet Corgi and she felt right at home and loved the big yard! We CANNOT...

”Guest check in was very easy. Property owner was very responsive and offer information. The house was very beautiful and extremely comfortable. Had everything you need linen and kitchen wise. Enjoyed fishing and water activities with provided kayak, canoe and paddle boards. Cell service, internet and on demand TV were great. Private dock is a very short walk from the house. Will mention the path going down to the dock is a little bit of a down grade hill but very easy to walk. The dock is great...

”The house was lovely. Easy check in. House was very clean. There was plenty of room for the entire family. The kids loved fishing off the pier. We could not keep them out of the two kayaks that were provided. Evenings at the fire pit were great. My younger grandkids loved all the toys and games that were downstairs. ”So much fun to stay in a 1917 farm house. Unfortunately didn’t appear haunted but we did have a mouse visit last night. We probably should have anticipated that in a farm house & put our snacks away better. Loved the view, the hot tub, firepit, the very comfortable beds, the veranda/sunroom, etc. We would’ve made use of the kayaks had the weekend not been a total rainout. We did make good use of the rain boots for a beautiful walk. Perfect getaway location.”

Plenty of room for even large groups to be comfortably together as well as secluded privacy when desired. Owners have thought of everything a guest could need . Communication with owner was easy and timely. Wonderful state park minutes away offering plenty of outdoor activities. Great experience”

”Memorial Day weekend my family and I wanted to get away and recharge. We have four children ranging from 16 - 6 y/o and 2 dogs. This rental property was perfect for us! When we were not at Hughlett Point Beach or Compass Entertainment Center, the children enjoyed the garage with darts, foosball and basketball. We be played games at night and enjoyed the morning sun out back. My husband and I were able to walk our dogs with ease and got to explore the neighborhood. I would recommend this property...

”We were sold on the rental because of its size, location, and pet friendliness. The hosts provided an immaculate, spacious, and attractive rental, complete with bedding and towels. The kitchen had all the necessities, including lots of flatware, mugs, glasses, plates, pots and pans. Dishwasher, coffee maker and Keurig were also provided. Full clothes washer and dryer made it possible for us to do our laundry and pack it clean for home. Home is nestled overlooking the river. Expansive windows...

”We stayed here for a wedding for our son. Our first interaction was with Ray, who is simply a delight to speak with. If you ever book this property, make sure to bring up baseball with Ray. The home is awesome. The pictures do not do this property justice. The backyard by thr creek is just wonderful. We took advantage of the kayaks. Overall a great stay.
