Monaco on viihtyisä kaksitasoinen huvila, jossa on runsaasti tilaa sekä sisä- että ulkopuolella.

Exceptional Experience!
The villa, the property and the view are beyond amazing. However, the absolutely best part of our stay was our outstanding host, Mr. Mario! While being completely professional, he made us feel like family and was very responsive to all of our needs. From arranging transportation to boat trips and recommending day trips and restaurants. Perfect stay
A beautiful property: each bedroom is self-contained so it is excellent for friends. Walking down through picturesque Amalfi foliage to a swimming platform and diving into the Mediterranean is beyond compare.

Beautiful villa on the Amalfi coast
Amazing through and through! The house was perfect for 7 adults ages18-60. Spacious, clean and the outside space was perfect! The swim platform was such a plus. While there are a lot of steps to get to it, if you take your time you will be ok. The house is located close to Minori which was perfect for meals and shopping. The views were spectacular. Mario, the host, was awesome. He helped with transfers, golf cart rides to town, restaurant suggestions and any questions we had. We can not thank Mario enough for making our stay so pleasurable. While we did not bother him often, he was so attentive to our needs. Do not hesitate to book Amalfi Dreams!

Highlight of Our Italian Vacation
What a treat to stay at Amalfi Dreams Il Monaco! It is perfectly located right on the sea but away from the crowds of Positano or Amalfi. I would first like to say that I believe Mario is the best, most helpful and accommodating host we have ever encountered in a vacation rental. He hooked us up with a taxi van from Salerno, the golf cart guy for little runs down to Minori for groceries, and he recommended the most delicious restaurant (the Alba, right up the road to the left) we ate in during our entire 2 week trip to Italy. Each room in the house has a spectacular sea view but our favorite place to hang out as a family was on the patio right outside the living room. Even on a rainy day it was still the best place to be. The view, and the lovely smell of the honeysuckle and lemon trees was so charming. We appreciated having the washing machine, and everybody’s laundry dried easily overnight. The only drawback to the house is the potentially dangerous road but if you’re careful and attentive you can walk into Minori without any issue. I would not recommend this house for families with young children for this reason. We used the ferries to get to Positano, Amalfi, and to Salerno to get the train to Pompeii. I definitely wish we had stayed longer in this fabulous house!

Best Time Ever!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Monaco in April 2024. The house is just as pictured, the views were stunning, and three couples each had privacy from each of the three bedrooms. Mr. Mario and his connections were very helpful during our stay. We enjoyed the small town of Minori and all it had to offer and it was just a short walk away from the villa. We’d love to visit again!!

Nice location with breathtaking views. With one of the bed and bathrooms located on the entrance level, we had some privacy as the rest of us was in the rooms downstairs. A highlight is the private space at the sea. Also to mention is Mr. Mario who was always available for any questions.

Absolutely delightful
What a treat it was to stay at Il Monaco! The rooms are beautiful, clean, well-appointed, and each one has an incredible view. The kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces are delightful--we rarely sat inside but instead used the outdoor table and lounge chairs. The swimming platform is incredible! We saw very few of them along the coastline and it was such a treat to have access to the sea whenever we wanted. It's about 180 steps down but the steps meander through beautiful trellises and greenery, it is quite lovely. Being able to walk into Minori (about 10 minutes) for groceries, shopping, and meals was great, and we also walked along the sea to Maiori, a larger town, and then walked back to Minori along the Path of the Lemons--a must-do! Mario was terrific, very responsive to our few questions and happy to provide local recommendations. I can't say enough about our stay, it was wonderful!

First start by saying the Host Mario went above and beyond making our stay amazing! He gave great advice and helped us maneuver around the area with ease. The house itself is stunning and the views are breathtaking. It is located 5 minutes from town. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend it to everyone!

We stayed at this property for a month. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever enjoyed. The outdoor area and swimming dock were incredible. We loved the local town and never tired of the endless restaurant opportunities or local market options. Mario was a wealth of local knowledge and helped us put together local adventures which exceeded our expectations every time. We appreciated Mario beyond measure.

II Monaco # 10 - Italia... You have our hearts forever!
Your home was stunning! The pictures online do not do it justice. When I walked inside and saw the views of the Mediterranean from every room, my hairs on my arms stood up! It was a dream come true! It was clean and organized and peaceful and charming from the terrace all the way down to the sea. We walked down to the cozy and welcoming town everyday and enjoyed the sights and delicious treats. All was within walking distance. We loved the small markets and restaurants. They were just so quaint. Such community feeling! We took a private boat tour of Amalfi Coast/Positano area that left conveniently from the same pier we arrived, just a few minutes down the road. Absolutely breath taking! So much to do here. We will be back. Ravello and your beautiful home, MARIO, and Italia have our hearts forever! Love G Family!

Very Modern Villa with a Gorgeous View
This house was very clean and modern. There were 5 of us, and I liked how there was plenty of space to spread out - the lounge chair area outside, the outside dining table, the inside dining table/living room, and 2 comfortable chairs on the top level looking out over the sea, not to mention the 3 bedrooms. So we could easily have a little alone time if anyone wanted. The town was very authentic. We ate at Taberna 33 and Giardiniello, both very good. The walk into town was a bit scary, but you will not be alone walking, many people walk that road. We took a taxi up to Ravello for lunch and then walked down the steps. That took about an hour and our legs were a bit sore by the end. Oh, one last thing - use the outdoor shower, we didn't until the last night, but it's beautiful to look at the sea as you shower and it's a very nice tiled shower with hot water and privacy. We loved our stay!

Fantastic Coastal Views
An enjoyable time was had by all. The views from the terrace both during the day and at night were stunning! Do watch out for bug bites if you are sitting on the terrace in the evening. It is fine if you use bug spray. The apartment was roomy and cool. It was wonderful to wake up to a calm and breathtaking view from the bedroom window. Quite a number of steps are required to reach the dock area where you may sun bathe or swim. It is worth the hike down and up to enjoy floating in the cool sea water. Very refreshing. Thanks for a lovely time!

Even better than we hoped
From booking to check out, we had wonderful communication with Anna and Mr. Antonio. Arrangements were made to drive us to the villa and when the door opened, I literally gaped at the view. There are views galore! We spent every breakfast and lunch eating on the terrace soaking it in. Every morning we took the steps (many but worth it) to the swim platform and enjoyed floating in the Mediterranean. We took rafts (as mentioned by another review) and this allowed us to float along the shore. We also enjoyed jumping into the water from the platform. The door to the villa is directly on the road as other reviewers mentioned. We made sure to listen for traffic and peak out before we walked to Minori for dinner each night. Our group spent time in Amalfi, Maiori (via the Path of Lemons), Ravello and Scala yet we enjoyed the view from our villa best! We also enjoyed the town of Minori over all the others. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and getting away from crowds after days of sightseeing in Tuscany and Umbria and the fast pace of Rome. I would recommend this villa, management team and location to anyone who wants to experience the most amazing views and peacefulness you can find on the Amalfi Coast!

Like a dream!
Four of us (3 adults and my 16 year old son) stayed here for 3 nights. This home was like a dream. All 4 of us were in awe of the views, and we went down to the water each day. The kitchen was huge and well stocked, bedrooms were very spacious. We walked into Minori and Maiori each day for groceries and meals, and were easily able to catch the ferry from the towns. Our entire stay was like a dream. I would gladly recommend this home to anyone

Our Stay in Amalfi Dreams
The property is just as described. Mulit-level three bedroom with amazing views of the water. Quick 1/2 mile walk into the town of Minori that has many restaurants and little shops and a ferry that will take you to many other areas on the Amalfi Coast. If you have difficulty with steps, I would caution you on renting this place but otherwise we had a lovely time.

Sole, Fiori and Swim
My partner and I had a wonderful time at this property. We thought we would want to saty in the room with the mural, but actually, it's quite busy and by the roadside... that's okay, because the room below is perfect and has another lovely view. The best parts of this property are the epic view, the semi-private beach to swim ( very rare ), and private outdoor patio access. Minori is a lovely town, we could walk to, the town is more local and friendly and has an amazing/famous dessert shop! Ravello ( at top of hill, just above the house ) is epic, and a very special experience/exercise to walk up to, but also you can take the bus. The semi-private water access allows water taxis to come pick you up and take you everywhere easily, we loved this too. We adored our time, it felt very private and like a beautiful escape into paradise.

La Villa Il Monaco ha risposto in pieno alle aspettative di una famiglia che cercava relax in una delle perle della nostra penisola, la costiera amalfitana. Una location splendida, anche superiore alle foto che illustravano la villa sul sito. Panorama mozzafiato, comunicazione eccellente e puntuale con la proprietaria, assistenza sul posto efficente e discreta. Insomma un vero cocktail di puro piacere per una settimana da sogno. Grazie
