”What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant. The 2 crowning glories though were: the food which was of a high standard being well cooked and presented and the staff who were really welcoming and friendly throughout, knowlegeable about the food on offer and well paced with the ordering and delivery of the food. ”

The only unfortunate issue, which was not the hotels fault, was a couple of rather loud and obnoxious people in the bar (who were not guests) that were verbally abusive to staff , using unfortunate language. This will not colour my opinion of the hotel and staff who are wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay and a special mention to Joseph in the bar who looked after us all evening.”
