”We were in town for our son’s college graduation. There 4 adults and 3 kids. Additionally, several more family members joined us at the graduation ceremony for dinner at the property and we were all comfortable. The home was nicely decorated, clean, and had plenty of space. The property manager responded promptly when the alarm was malfunctioning and resolved it right away. We would definitely consider this property again ”

”This is a spacious home located on a scenic section of the Elk River. Guests may want to be aware that the road in to the property is rural and may not be suitable for all vehicles. Also the driveway is steep, so it's probably not ideal for those with elderly or limited mobility guests. Overall, an excellent place to unwind in a quiet and scenic waterfront environment. Also, it's a little ways out of town, so be sure to bring what you need with you as stores and restaurants are a few miles...

”My family was in desperate need of a Thanksgiving away. We had high hopes when booking this secluded cabin and those hopes were met and exceeded. We so greatly enjoyed all we could of the outdoor spaces, even with a cold front blowing through. And the interior was very comfortable and more spacious than we expected. This property is out in the country and the many bugs anxious to escape the cold air into the house reminded us of that. Some elements of the cabin are dated, some light switches...

”Do yourself a favor, and make it a long weekend stay (at least!). We will definitely be coming back for a longer visit. There is SO much to see, learn, and enjoy. Staying in the Pythian is an experience. Take it all in. The history is incredible. Go antiquing around the historic square. Grab dinner & margaritas at the mexican restaurant...all within walking distance. You won't regret it. ”
