This was a last-minute substitution after our Airbnb reservation fell through, and we were very pleased to find it on such short notice. It is a resort, in a neighborhood entirely made up of resorts, and we were repeatedly urged to attend a 90-minute timeshare presentation. I suspect that the price of the unit was lower than it might have been because of that.
The pools are lovely, with shallow beaches for small children, and there are grills and hammocks nearby. Quiet hours (8pm for the pools, 10 pm otherwise) are generally well observed, and the whole area feels extremely safe.
The unit itself was nicely designed and precisely equipped with six settings of tableware, a utile collection of cookware and kitchen appliances, and a few starter consumables. There were a few signs of wear — a bit of fusty wood smell, a metal piece that kept falling off into the bathtub, and a safe lock that wouldn’t turn, rendering the safe unusable — but the kitchen & laundry appliances and the tv were recent models in excellent condition.
A pest treatment was scheduled for the day before we left, which the staff kindly offered to reschedule to the following day.
All in all, a good value, especially for families.
