Take in a fresh breeze at this lakefront cabin, all set up so you can commune with nature in a private retreat. It is set on the three-lake Presque Isle Chain, famous for trophy fishing, watersports, and hidden beauty. Seafarers will love the winding pathway leading down to the pier. This property is also within 15 miles of several popular attractions including the Van Vliet Hemlocks State Natural Area, WinMan Trails, the North Lakeland Discovery Center, and the Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail.

Gather around the firepit to cook marshmallows after a long day on the water. This cabin pays tribute to the Adirondacks with its classic interior, featuring knotty pine walls and triple-glazed windows. The galley-style full kitchen features full-size appliances and cooking equipment to help you put together delicious vacation meals. There's even children's dinnerware for the little ones. When you're not relaxing in one of the comfortable bedrooms, enjoy one of the homes' complimentary board games or step outdoors to play badminton or jumbo-size Jenga. Age-appropriate games are also available for younger guests. The secluded location guarantees a peaceful getaway.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Secluded and Rustic but Modern
My gf and i rented it last minute and were not dissapointed. This beautiful cabin is definitely off the beaten path and away from a lot of anything (15-20 minutes from Manitowish Waters) but has many conveniences of a modern home. We enjoyed the rustic vibe of the cabin from the older decore to the nook full of books. Lots of board games and tons of dvds, older and new-ish. Wish the fire place wasn't off limits, though. The cabin was extremely clean, inside and out. Plenty of firewood for our bonfire, Saturday night. We fished all the lakes on the chain Saturday. Fyi: if you're trailering a boat up, it can be put in at one of the landings on Preque Isle Lake or Van Villete Lake and you can boat to the cabin and dock it for your stay. If you choose to take the boat out after each trip, the boat landings offer very little parking. Get there early. We did fish off the dock and i caught plenty of medium size perch. We also had a large pike/medium sized musky show up chasing a hooked perch i had hooked. Bring your mosquito spray, though and dont leave trash out as there ARE bears in the area. We would definitely visit again.

The property was beautiful and well kept. Nice cozy cabin with hard wood throughout. Owner provided items needed which is nice like kitchen items, kitchen and bathroom towels and wash rags. Nice little lake with pier overlooking the lake and quiet neighborhood, very relaxing overall which is the point of the trip. Wood provided. Things that had nothing to do with the cabin/property included no bike trails or beaches with bathrooms near by. The trails and beaches with no bathrooms were a 20 minute drive one way. The beaches and trails with bathrooms were over an hour drive one way. Bad weather for most of the trip.

This cabin is very clean and has all the items you will need for your stay. The lake views off the deck are beautiful. There is nothing my husband or I wanted or needed that was not provided. Would stay again.

The cabin is a great older cabin. Access to two nice lakes. However can't understand why not share the wifi and the fees are very high. I've had better stays through other companies for less.
