”Very good price / quality ratio for short stay. Stayed a day on transit. Comfortable bed, shower worked. There is a lot of construction and somewhat limited services in the area, but noices did not bother. Overall, good match for my needs!”

”Super polite staff, everything efficient. Building and room modern and clean. Airport transfer included. Breakfast good. Room (deluxe seaview) was small. Air-conditioning not functioning when the key is not in and as the air-conditioner blows directly to the bed of the small room I would have preferred to cool the room during dinner and then switch it off for the night. A mosque on the opposite side on the street, so night prayers will be heard at 5 am. Nice bathroom. Rooftop restaurant: good...

”Staff tried hard to keep everyone happy. Front desk employees are very helpful and friendly. Pick up and ride back to the fast ferry is very helpful. I did not like the daily 2 plastic water bottles in the room. Should offer a water container for guests to refill their own water bottles to save on trash. My room had no window, felt claustrophobic.”

”The hotel has a great location and the breakfast has some intercontinental and local options. I had always local. The restaurant has great views to airport island and Hulhumale. Small minus comes from forgetting my takeaway breakfast last morning. Overall, I would stay there again and if only they had full-licensed bar...”

”This is a convenient hotel for a one-night stop-over like what we had, but do not expect anything grand or a view. Also, definitely not accessible and the taxi has to leave you at the corner like 100m from the hotel, but that is not a big problem. Location is good as you can walk to any place on Male and taxi takes you to the airport in no time at all. Breakfast was a good english breakfast and supposedly available also late if agreed. We would have appreciated some kind of reading light though...

”Huvan Beach Hotel is right on the Hulhumale beach. There is an excellent restaurant called Red Snapper downstairs. It is close to grocery shopping stores like Red Wave and SJ Mall. However, the room was very small, and the window was facing a wall, limiting available sunlight into the room.”

Ihana paikka, upea palvelu

"Kaikki toimi erinomaisesti. Upeat rannat ja vaikka hotelli oli täynnä, niin joka paikassa oli tilaa ja rauhallista. Paljon erilaisia aktiviteetteja. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja palvelu huippua! Ruoka oli joka ravintolassa herkullista. Ei ollut mitään mikä olisi ollut huonoa tai ei olisi toiminut."

"What a paradice! I loved my experience. Staff is very friendly and food is amazing. I loved how many different fresh juices they have. Breakfast is so good whit many different options. I was on the island early in the morning but got my room right away and when I was leaving I got to stay in the room after check out time. "

"We stayed two weeks in Malahini Kuda Bandos in a Garden Room. The room was nice. The cleaning was ok also, but sometimes we had to ask from the reception for towels etc and the cleaning times were unpredictable. The island is small and closeness to Male is both a good thing (transfer times) and a bad thing (lots of trafic and the view to Hulhumale was not great). The sand on the island has shifted almost totally to the other side of the island where the main beach is located, so some of the pictures I had seen before weren't accurate anymore, but we actually enjoyed the small area near Bar75 more than the big beach. Also the bar was much better than the big bar on the main beach, where the drinks weren't good and service wasn't great either. But in Bar75 Harsha made great drinks and was very nice and provided excellent service. Food in main restaurant was great and the guys working behind the "Live food" counter were always nice and smiling, so were the waiters. We had half board and the drinks, especially a bottle of wine, was really expensive and I felt that the island was more expensive to for example Sun Island Villa Resort, where I've been many times. For the room we got a good deal from Expedia. The weather wasn't great and it was very cloudy and windy almost all the time, so we didn't do any excursions and did very little snorkeling."
