”I was in KY visiting a sick uncle, who happened to pass away the day I arrived. This place was just the place I needed. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The house is in a gated, private community and is away from the busy cities but close to this cute little town that has bowling, ice cream shop, tavern, an antique store, and a great Mexican restaurant. There is a gas station and grocery store close by. The house is away from the busy cities. The view of the Lake was spectacular especially...

”lovely countryside home with most essentials for a family visiting nearby attractions such as the Ark Encounter. Some nitpicky repairs and cleaning could be done, but our main concerns were a high sloped tub which needed non slip decals and a faulty can opener. The upstairs beds were cloth covered springs, but thankfully with an extra blanket our children did fine. The host and team were responsive. Other suggestions would be black out curtains and allergen friendly soaps and detergents. ”

”The home was clean and quiet. It’s centrally located being only minutes from Wild Turkey, Four Roses, Larriken, Woodford Reserve, Buffalo Trace and other distilleries. A great restaurant (The Stace)is close as well. Wonderful food & bourbon bar. I highly recommend this home. ”

”We enjoyed our stay. The basement was always cold. If thermostat raised, too hot upstairs. Suggest space heater for basement. Change light fixtures in master bedroom. If cleaning service unplugs fixtures, have service plug them back in. It is very difficult for a 75 year old person to get underneath bed to plug back in. Additionally, switch to lamp was underneath the bed.”

”The Cottage was very clean, tidy, and welcoming. The host graciously allowed us to adjust day and time of our arrival. The games downstairs kept the children engaged, and the living room was comfortable for relaxing in the evening. The kids loved the bunk beds with the slide and the little reading room located off of the bedroom. All in all, it was a wonderful time away.”

”The surrounding property is low income but we met several of the elderly neighbors one was actually Santa Claus. I went out early on a Saturday morning to see an elderly man with his bright red trousers with big fuzzy white cuffs feeding his cat. He was getting dressed to play Santa Claus on the Santa train in nearby Versailles, Kentucky. The house is old but extremely clean with comfortable beds and well supplied kitchen. There’s a nearby bakery the outstanding in very easy walking distance....

”The location is perfect for horse races and distillery tours. With it being located in between Lexington and Louisville, it was perfect for day trips to places of interest. ”

”It was great. Perfect location and wonderful setting. ”

”Phil was great at communicating and responding. The Victorian home was as described. You got the modern conveniences with the Victorian vibe all in one. Clean and plenty of amenities and extra blankets which I was grateful for. While it was secluded in the back, I would have liked blinds or shutters on the big bay windows for privacy where the kids were on the sleeper sofa. Otherwise it’s was perfect!”

”Beautiful home in an excellent location. The view from the back deck is so relaxing and the host was very responsive and helpful. Very comfortable bedrooms and there were welcoming details throughout. We will absolutely return!”

”Very nice place to go. Very quiet with a view of a body of water. It's a hideaway but close enough to civilization. Only thing i would change is the location to the number on the cabins. Difficult to see those at night. The property manager was a great help. Gas up and check it out. ”
