”The stay was very nice. My only tiny complaint was that upon check in we were told that the pool and hot tub were open untill 11:00 pm and at found out that they were closed at ten when we tried to go soak at ten fifteen. Other than that it was great”

”Our stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations! Very clean,lots of cooking items to make simple meals and a super comfortable bed. The location is ideal for sightseeing. Fisherman’s wharf is within walking distance, Alcatraz visible from the rooftop deck and Lombard Street a few blocks away plus a trolley right outside the door! Area felt very safe. ”Wonderful location in middle of union square. Can walk everywhere. Note: quite a few homeless in the area but no issues. Hotel was friendly, helpful and we encountered some initial problems with our room (heat and drain) but they quickly fixed by moving us to an equal room. The spa floor is beautiful. The valet and security are terrific and so friendly. Rooms are roomy and comfortable. Very nice stay. Note- they do a vacation resort sales pitch at checkin but not pushy if you aren’t...

”This was my first stay at the Inn and I was delighted. The remodeling is gorgeous and classy. I had a Superior Suite with a queen bed, sofa bed in the sitting area, and two full bathrooms. The kitchenette had a microwave and refrigerator. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. I stayed three nights to see the San Francisco Ballet next door at the War Memorial Opera House - the most convenient hotel for the Opera House. ”

”The room and amenities are generally all great, esp for families that need a kitchenette. The pool, restaurants and flat turf areas for young kids to run around we're perfect for us. The only thing lacking is probably the pace of service. They mentioned they were short staffed, so asking for additional items like blankets, towels, taking out the trash, etc. took the full day and additional reminders to get the items in.”
