”The building was an old school they bought and turned into a hotel. Nicely Done! The lounge/bar is the old auditorium. Big room with plenty of seating and a beautiful old chess board and chairs combo. There is a restuarant serving dinner and drinks. The food was quite good! Waitresses Daria & Daniella were very kind and friendly. Morning breakfast buffet was also good. Nice selection. ”Room was spacious, clean, modern and had windows to the fjord. Lovely views from the room! Breakfast was good (especially porridge) and hotel offered complimentary coffee and tea. You need to have own rental car to get to Akureyri where the nearest services are. I would definitely stay in Hotel Natur again.”

”This is a fantastic place. The room was spacious, clean and very stylish. I especially loved the seating on the windowsill, where you can relax with a cup of tea. They also have a small warm outdoor pool and a sauna that you should try. The restaurant and the bar are also definitely worth visiting. Breakfast was nice, too.”

At first, we were a little nervous because the road seemed quite tricky due to the heavy snow and the buildings looked quite rustic from the outside, but everything went smoothly. ”This quant hotel is family ran. They let us come one day early and leave one day early which was so appreciative! They were so kind and the food was great.
