”Definitely not opposed to smoking as it's a casino, but they should invest in smoke eaters or something of that sort. When you first arrive in the lobby the smell of stale smoke really hits you. Rooms didn't smell bad tho. All in all the place is clean and the rooms are comfortable.”

”This place is surrounded by nature. We wanted to stay in a quiet area. As we were getting out of the car on the hotel parking lot, it was so disappointing to hear the first train go by. Room was large and they tried to give us a room as far away from the train tracks, but it didn’t help. This is something you might want to be aware of.”

”We've stayed at Oakwood a few times and it's always very clean, comfortable and well kept. However, this time we noticed that the air vent on our room was rusty and the flooring was coming loose and made funky slapping noises as we walked around our room. It seems like upkeep has gone a little downhill lately. That's sad to see because we really like staying here.”
