”From my interactions with the owner to the home and the breathtaking views from the property— our stay at Rock and Stone was wonderful. It was comfortable had everything we needed and was very close to one of the trails to the monasteries. We enjoyed cooking at the house as well as walking into town. An excellent and memorable experience. I highly recommend it!!”

”We absolutely loved our time at Meteora! The house indeed had a majestic view, with even an attached sun room/lounge near the entrance where we could sit and watch the sun rise over the rock formations. Nikolaus was also a wonderful and helpful host. He only spoke Greek and we only spoke English - but all was well with Google Translate. We would definitely recommend this to a group of friends or family!”

”We had a very very pleasant stay in this impressive strong character old house yet with all modern facilities and comfort. The area is simply amazing and the light rain did not stop us at all from having long walks/trails in the woods, waterfalls, old bridges etc Last but not least the people that welcomed us, were extremely helpful and made us feel like being among good friends”

”Two bedrooms and the living rooms. Beds were ok. Lots of room in the kitchen. There were laundry facilities but you are not allowed to use them. No shampoo/conditioner/soap in the shower. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Parking was street parking. Neighbor in the next unit was noisy. Difficult to bring luggage up the stairs as the elevator was broken. ”Very large room and bed with sofa, dining table and small kitchen with a fabulous view of the Meteora. Although located in a new part of town it was in fact only 10 minutes walk from the centre which has an abundance of cafes , bars and restaurants. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The location is new and, as at June 2024, not properly served by my car satnav or my iPhone map. However google maps worked and the manager sent a link to the Google map app to guide us in. Very pleased...
