”Very friendly welcome from the owner who came to pick us up in Orosi, as we couldn't find the address. The garden is beautiful, waking up with birdsongs is wonderful, and the terrace which offers a beautiful view of the garden, is very pleasant. However it's impossible ton be on th terrace from 5 PM, as there are lots of mosquitos. Finally, the interior of the house could do with a facelift, or at the very least a thorough cleaning. ”

”Bill and Rosalee are lovely hosts! Very helpful and welcoming.We had a very relaxing stay. The connection with the local culture and foods was top-notch. Warm, engaging, friendly and helpful! ”This beautiful property, reached by a very steep hill, offers amazing views both day & night. But kitchen amenities are meager and towels are limited. Laundry & outdoor jacuzzi are off limits. No sink plugs make dishwashing & clothes handwashing a challenge; bring your own universal plug. Surprised to find open panes in every room, but, even more surprisingly, no unwanted visitors. Keeps the house fresh, but difficult to keep warm on cool nights. ”

”We had an amazing time. The scenery was just beautiful. Views are breathtaking and our hosts were fantastic. Loved the little touches with the wine and cookies and treats. So sweet! ”The friendly owner showed pride in the condition of his few cabins and was very helpful in showing us some birding areas. We also went on a trip looking for a specific bird as well. ”Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay. ”We loved this property and I only wish we had more time. The host and the caretaker were responsive. Excellent bird watching in the mornings. Fresh guava to eat off the trees. We had two dinners at the farm next store and they were delicious! A lovely stay and my only wish is we had more time. Ricardo was super friendly and very helpful.
