”Stayed for Valentine’s which included dinner (up to £40 Per Person) & breakfast. Main was ok but monkfish over cooked & pork under ( fat not rendered enough). They offered to take the fish main off the bill which was £32, as not finished & mentioned not the best. When we checked out the £32 was not put towards the drinks bill but as other than this we had a nice time & staff were great we never said anything. ”Third time we have stayed here. Very convienient, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The let down was Room 12 which has restricted head room which is a particular issue if you wake at night. Was not aware of this when booking though now ive looked at reviews, others have commented on the same issue. Will definately stay again, just not in that room.”

”We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. ”
