Lomamajat – Pennsylvania Dutch Country

”We stayed one night in The General's lodge. It was clean and perfect for our needs. The staff, especially Nona, could not have been more friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be to lower your pet fee from $250, to $100 per stay. I did not bring my dog on this trip because it was cheaper to get a sitter. Had the pet fee been lower, I would have booked the whole holiday weekend instead of just one night. This is just a suggestion and not a critique! It was a great stay!”

”The room was big, surprisingly so for the rate. But unfortunately that’s where the pluses end. The sheets were stained, tissue box was empty and also a half-used roll of toilet paper was in the bathroom. And the room in general was not well-kept: furniture was damaged and peeling, closet rod was loose (could see where it had been moved multiple times); shower didn’t look that clean, etc. The hallways smelled strongly of weed, and the atmosphere was a bit noisy, even past midnight. ”Great for a cheaper overnight stay than others in the area. Rooms could use serious modernization. Air conditioner is a noisy room unit. They stopped serving a continental breakfast a while back. Room was clean. Owners are very nice and helpful. No frills, bare bones, but not a bad budget room for trippers to the area.”

”Close to grocery store, easy access to interstate and a short commute into Harrisburg. Great overall stay.”
