”This is a beautiful house for a couple. It has views of the ocean, White Sound and the Sea of Abaco! It's beautifully landscaped. The owners and the caretaker are very responsive. The dock slip is close to the house and can be seen from the house. We'll be coming back.”

”This property is beautiful and the beach is gorgeous. We stayed out of season so pretty much had beach to ourselves. I never get tired of the amazing Bahamas water. Even in early September the water is refreshing. The pool is a treat to have and great for a quick cooling off.”

Plenty of beach towels and bathing towels provided. Clean and comfortable. Easy check out process. Locals were kind and informative. Good local grocery within walking distance. Quiet local community and not far from the airport; 30 minute drive.”

”The pictures truly do not do this house justice. Amazing deck areas for sunrises and sunsets. Everything you could want is in this house that made our stay comfortable. The only things I would suggest is a hose is needed upstairs to wash off the beach sand and getting up and down to the beach is a pretty steep slope. Beautiful location with amazing views!”

”We loved the living room / kitchen area being completely separate from the bedrooms. The two separate houses for sleeping/bedrooms were great for adult children. Location to the dock was so convenient. The house manager and cart service were quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely stay at Barefoot Bay again.”

”We vacationed with our kids and some of their friends. The property was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The expansive peninsula had multiple seating areas- all super comfortable and with 360 views of the gorgeous sunsets. The dock fit our boating needs well - the water ferry could almost make it at low tide - and absolutely reached the dock at higher (not just highest) tides. Junior could have helped, but we used our boat to bridge the gap. Snorkeling was fun on the side of the peninsula...

”4 couples, We all had ample space and our own Bedrooms, all of us were in upstairs bedrooms. The 2 bedrooms downstairs smell musty/damp, both had Mini-Split units, not sure if that is why. I would not have been happy staying in Either one of them. Grocery store was close. Pick up and drop off from Ferry was seamless, property manager was Great .A cooler available for guests with house with this price tag Would have been a nice touch, as those are difficult to bring, we wanted to take drinks...

”This was our second trip to Elbow Cay. Conch Quest is a short golf cart ride to Sea Spray Marina, Tahiti Beach, Firefly, Abaco Inn and On Da Beach - all amazing places! Lisa (property manager) was absolutely amazing handling any issues we encountered. Mr. Sanders and Lisa were also a huge help ensuring we had everything in order prior to our trip (i.e. taxi, ferry, golf cart, boat rental, etc.). We are definitely planning another trip soon.”

”I’ve been to exuma and Nassau and Abaco is far superior. The food for some reason is as good as south Florida as opposed to the other islands where even at fancy resorts it was mediocre and overpriced. The people were super nice and professional. The hotel is old but it’s clean and my room was fine. Will not be going back to the other islands. Exuma is too empty and Nassau is too ghetto and overrun by tourists. Ask for Kim or Shelly at the bar. Really, really good people. ”
