”The position of this house is great - across the road from the sea and by a fantastic beach. The house itself was very basic. It was advertised as a 3 bed but only had 2 bedrooms which was disappointing. It also did not have a hot tub as advertised. There was no gas in the kitchen so we could not use the cooker and the owner did not respond to a message about it. There was also no kettle. It was certainly not a luxury but if you just need somewhere to rest your head while exploring the area it...

”Perfect having pool for kids but rarely used as it was too cold. Location well situated w easy access to Sintra, Caiscais and Lisbon. Luxuriously spacious home and garden built in the last century must require extensive maintenance, so there were a few challenges with plumbing and windows, but very good value, overall and a great stay!”

”I loved everything about this property. Three generous bedrooms, and excellent kitchen and living room; with a beautiful place to sit outside and enjoy the peace and quiet. A couple of wonderful grocery stores within 5 minutes walk and a terrific cafe less than a minute away for coffee in the morning, wine in the afternoon and great pastry. 5 minutes drive from the Ocean, 10 minutes to Sintra and 30 minutes to Lisbon - I couldn't have asked for a better place. I will be going back. ”

The terrace with the pool is a dream. The proximity to Sintra and Lisbon gave us the opportunity to go on beautiful excursions and sightseeing. ”Fabulous villa. Spacious, modern, super clean and tastefully decorated. Great kitchen with all mod cons. Approx 20 mins to Sintra (can take much longer if you want to visit the sights in Sintra as there’s a lot of traffic!) but Sintra is so lovely. There’s a small beach a few minutes drive but we drove to Cascais a couple of times (30mins drive) as the sea was calmer. Lovely garden and pool. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. ”
