”We enjoyed a relaxing stay for our Anniversary in Tybee with a view of the lighthouse at this quaint location. Beautiful quiet area to walk to beach and enjoy the views. Very helpful tourist info for attractions and tips for the best restaurants to try! Host was quick to respond if needed for any questions. Overall great stay! Two points that could help guests 1) the backyard amenities are shared with cottage B and 2) you must pay to park everywhere on Tybee, except the rental cottage. (We just...

”I would give them 10 stars if I could! We come to tybee a couple times a year and this is my favorite stay so far. The hosts are amazing and the communication is great. They have everything you could need at the house. The pool was amazing, the house is beautiful and we had the best time. Definitely stay here!”

”Here's a few things to know in advance: 1.) The twin beds do NOT exist. It is a full size bed. Two of us had to share a bed and that was NOT part of the plan. We had enough beds for each of us to have our own bed, according to the online description. That was not the case. 2.) We are from Louisiana. We are used to humidity and heat. The A/C unit was not as we'd hoped. The middle room (master) stayed cold. The rest of us had fans blowing on us all night and didn't use the blankets...

”Once we dealt with the bird (that was inside stuck beside the stove) and the pests coming in, it was a very good stay. One suggestion would be to install weather striping around the doors to minimize pests (bugs, flies, bees, etc.). Otherwise, thumbs up.”

”My son and I stayed at the Blue Dolphin house while attending weekend wedding festivities with family. We had planned on a larger group but the hurricane and other circumstances changed who was able to travel. I let Patty know and she was responsive and kind regarding our change in circumstance. The cottage was perfect! It had everything we needed for a stress free stay. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to others. Thank you Ed and Patty for a lovely place to stay on...

”We had a great time in this darling beach cottage. It is in the historic Fort Screven area of Tybee and just about a 3 minute walk to the Gulick Street beach access. This is my third trip to Tybee Island and I enjoyed this house the best. The house was SPOTLESS!! It is also the best stocked of ANY vacation rental I have stayed in any where. There were no problems with the house so the only time I had to talk with the owners was to tell them it was still standing after Hurricane Helene...

”I cannot imagine a better place to stay! It is so quiet and peaceful. The bird watching was amazing and we loved the easy proximity to the beach/swimming - esp. via our very own golf cart!! ;) The record player was a great personal touch and don’t even get me started on the outside shower (a dream!!!) And on top of all that, there is also a FANTASTIC restaurant (“Seawolf” with local oysters) just a stone’s throw away. Don’t miss out on this special property!”

”This cottage was adorable! It was clearly marked, within walking distance to beach, and couple of restaurants. Things to know: internet can be spotty at times, driveway is gravel and there a couple of stairs. Not a big deal unless you have mobility issues. It was perfect for my husband and I. I could not imagine having more than 2-3 people in this space. There is no dishwasher so you need to bring paper plates or wash your dishes. I would totally stay here again. Very quiet neighborhood.”

”As many have mentioned, noise is the main discomfort here -- not only from the busy fun-loving street below, but also from neighboring apartments next door and coffee shop music below. I was prepared for it and was still surprised by *just* how noisy. Sonder provides a noise machine and ear plugs, and while they helped the main culprit was the bass from music that earplugs don't do much to ward against.
