”Everyone here goes above and beyond! Excellent customer service, i stayed in one of the suites with private pool and jacuzzi and it was worth it! There are only 3 of those suites so book early, im sure all rooms are nice but the suitrs are top notch. The hotel is very well kept, staff always keeping an eye in perfection, the restaurant is highly recommended, delicious food, breakfast is great too and the staff in the restaurant are superb. If you are coming to Sri Lanka, you need to book here...

”This was like a piece of tranquil paradise in the middle of Galle Fort. It’s excellently located for exploring the fort and the building is beautifully preserved and offers excellent and spacious accommodation. We loved the room with a garden balcony, as we could watch and hear the world go by from the comfort of our room. Okay, so someone had stolen the TV (joking; there isn’t one in the room, but there is fast, free wifi), but if you want to be in the centre of the Galle Fort action, I reckon few properties can beat this one!”

”The room was smaller than advertised. Didn’t have a much space. The bathroom was stylish but the shower drain didn't work and flooded the bathroom. Also no hot water from the shower. What saved it a bit was the friendly hotel manager and the nice beach lounge across the road. ”

”Fantastic 150 year old house with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths. One of the most beautiful places we ever stayed. Furnishings are beautiful. Great pool. Great breakfast. Great caretaker, Mohan, also a very good chef preparing dinners for us. The owner stopped by and was extremely helpful. ”

”We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) ”

”Dette hotel er noget helt specielt. Vi havde et værelse på 3 sal med egen terrasse. Vi havde et alle tiders kæmpe tre lige uden foran og om morgenen, da vi skulle spise morgenmad, var aberne meget interesserede. Det var en morgenmad, som var inklusiv i opholdet, men det blev bragt til værelset til aftalt tid og man kunne komme med ønsker om preferencer. Tillige fik vi en mygge skåner. Vi havde brug for transport og stedet havde en mand ansat, der gerne kørte os til adskillige oplevelser og endda...
