”The comfort of the place is rudimentary but the experience is very special. To stay in a chickee in the middle of the Everglades for a night is an amazing experience. No windows, only the screens for the mosquitoes. No locks on the doors. Shared batroom. Listening to the sounds of the wildlife during the night, waking up with the sunrise is so nice! ”

”Comfortable one-night stay while visiting the Everglades. Really loved the screened-in porch overlooking the river, particularly in the evening and when having my morning coffee. Free use of canoes was a plus. The location is convenient for boat tours of the Everglades or for those who enjoy fishing (private dock with fish-cleaning area). Cooking facilities are included and there are several restaurant options are nearby.”
