”Great location. The bed was rather hard and we didn’t get much sleep as we could not get comfortable. It didn’t do my back any good. Bedroom and bathroom spotless, no complaints. I think they need more staff as when we checked in and out no one was on reception. I had to go and find them in the kitchen. It was the same at breakfast. ”Nice place for a short stay. Staff were great. My Sisters check in took along time, well past 3pm. Still not checked in by tea time. Only down side was no electrical power points nxt to bed. I had to run extension cables which could of caused an accident getting up in the middle of the night.”

”Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy”

”The room was amazing very clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfy. The shower was walk in and very hot. The view from our room shown the river and was very beautiful to look at The only thing about the room was the road traffic noise you could hear. The pub itself was very busy and the breakfast was really good. We also had a meal and that was brilliant too. The staff was very helpful and really informative. Would recommend a stay here.”
