”We stayed in the Esplanade hotel for three nights. The location was perfect to us: 12 minutes from the Auckland CBD by a ferry, still away from the noisy centre. The neighborhood of the Esplanade is really very cozy. There are nice beaches around and Mount Victoria is a place worth visiting. The hotel itself offers very good service and the restaurant is very nice. Our room was large and comfortable. The staff was positive and professional, we enjoyed our stay in the Esplanade very much.”

”Good location. Hotel quite outdated. No restaurant open or breakfast available. Price cheap so a lot is forgiven for that. Gym was ok, pool not good for swimming but doable. ”

”We had a very nice stay. The rooms are a great size and had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the swing set out back. The pool isn’t open but we weren’t planning on using it. KFC and Woolworths are very close, which was convenient. There is no A/C but our room had 3 fans which really helped. ”

”A friend and I stayed for 3 nights as I had a surgery nearby and we are from out of town. The staff were friendly, the cleaners were friendly and did an exceptional job. The property (the suite and the building and garden areas) were all beautiful and well kept. Very happy with our stay and experience.”

”Booked here for a concert we were going too. When we got to the accommodation the lovely lady let us know we had been upgraded! Its an absolutely lovely place to say and pretty close to restaurants and a grocery store!”
