The walls had many holes and scuffs that could have easily been fixed with spackle and a coat of paint. The fireplace/thermostat didn’t work until the last night we stayed. ”Found this rental while looking for a place to stay while attending a wedding on the resort. Dylan and Renee were super easy to communicate with and answered all my concerns in a timely manner. Super cozy and homey feel, I love how close yet still far enough from all the noise of the resort. Would definitely think about renting for the snow season since it’s right next to a lift. Plus the pools and hot tubs would be ideal after a long day on the mountain. Worth every penny! ”

”We were at Northstar for a wedding in July. The unit is extremely well-equipped with coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, dishes, great towels, shampoo and conditioner, etc. Bed and pillows very comfortable. One night the AC went out and we were unable to restart. Ultimately we flipped a circuit breaker and restarted. Owner very responsive, send repair crew next day (already solved). Suggest adding circuit label for AC (currently says HP-1) and add instructions to helpful notebook on what to...

”Great location between Lake Tahoe and Truckee and many golf courses in between. Precise instructions on where to park your car, but few on how to find the unit. It took me a half hour of wandering around to find the place. What check-in process? There is none. Also, no TV users instructions.”

”This property was very clean, nicely furnished, and would be perfect for a single family stay. Very close to stores, restaurants, and anything else you may need.”

”Great location! Ski week with my son and it could not have been better. 5 minute walk to ski center/lodge and recreational facilities! Kitchen was adequate for our needs, beds comfortable. Plenty of room for my son and I. Would be great for 3 people and potentially 4 if smaller/younger. Would rent again!”

”The place exceeded my and my family's expectations, a very cozy place, clean, tidy, with all the comforts. We felt at home. We would return. Teresa was an excellent host, she left us a welcome letter, a property manual, suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, a very quiet neighborhood. I only recommend putting salt on the entrance stairs to prevent snow accumulation and avoid an accident. For everything else. Wonderful experience”

”The property managers were pleasant and available to assist us in checking in and accessing the property. The lodgings were clean, but spartan. Kitchenette seemed like it was missing glassware (only one wine glass), could have used more towels. There wasn't much atmosphere to the property and the shared features such as the rooftop deck could have used much more attention to make it inviting. Overall, clean and servicable, but spartan. Loved the easy access to parking and the beach!”

”wonderful location - close to the lake and beach access. There is no AC - which on a hot week could be a problem. Needs some work on maintenance (windows shade, windows not working, shower door....) we enjoyed our stay and the beautiful Lake Tahoe!”

”What I loved most about this place was the caretaker on site, he helped us park in the very small parking area and also gave us pointers about parking. Loved the keyless entry and everything was secure. The studio was comfortable enough for two adults and our small dog. There is no AC, however a tall cooling fan is available . The one negative is the queen bed sinks in on both sides and in my opinion needs to be replaced. Overall it was a pleasant experience and a nice place to stay. ”

”First off the listing said pool access and that’s main reason we chose this location. Arrived late in the evening. Next day checked the pools. Both we closed due to renovation. Spoke to Vacasa management and they said too bad. The local on site manager said that your reservation company should know the amenities. Tried for four days to get a resolution and still none. I’ve spent more time on the phone than enjoying my vacation. Also bugs and pet urine smell on rugs. Kitchen cabinet falling off...

”The condo is at a perfect location in Northstar Village. It is cozy but well-organized with everything you need. The one or two minor things we contacted the owner regarding were quickly addressed. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!”

”We really enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to a lot of Kings Beach amenities and especially ice cream ! It was an easy walk to the beach as well as restaurants . It was clean and well put together . The property is almost exactly as listed. It probably should have included that itis the upstairs floor of a 3 unit building. We did have the whole unit to our selves however we were worried about disturbing the neighbors downstairs.”

”Nice location for us skiing Northstar nearby. The stay was good, except our unit desperately needs new flooring a carpet. It was quoted for $10 less on Hotels.com but the hotel charged me $10 more without explanation. I did not discover this until hours later after checking out and going skiing!”

”I was delighted with the Lodge. Our basic studio room had a great kitchen, and all the silverware and utensils and pot and pans. Coffee maker is a standard drip type. Bathroom was adequate and had a jacuz,i tub. (Did not use it) Both the roll out bed and queen size were comfortable. Storage space adequate for two guys with ski gear. Ski locker down the hall.
