”Unit was comfortable and cozy. Granlibakken is nice and laid back for families wanting to relax. Couple of small issues (WiFi network changed, pool access card didn’t work) got addressed quickly by Vacasa/host. Overall, great base for a few days in Tahoe. ”

”The location was one of the best we have ever had - just a few minutes walking to the gondola, it can be better. The place is pretty convenient, it needs just a few updates as there is no bottle opener, plates, cups, silverware, but we were able to adjust by getting some plastic ware, etc. The guest area is very welcoming, perfect spot after a day on the slopes. Lot of restaurants in the area, but they all closed very early. Great place, amazing location, would definitely come back and...

”Great property, spacious, and responsive property management. We were not able to light fireplace due to a faulty hand held lighter. Contacted property management and text us within minutes. Had maintenance drop off a lighter while we were skiing.... Perfect? ”

”Condo was fantastic for a 6 adults.Plenty of room for 3 couples. Pictures were as advertised. Big windows, high ceiling and decks in the family/great room were fantastic. Mountaineer shuttle was easy to access to get to the ski area.Host was great, she let us know there was wood in the fireplace ready for us to have a fire.Definitely would stay here again. ”

”Well priced for a small studio room with 2 queen beds. A lot to do around the property and small half kitchen with most of the extras provided. Only issue was lack of coffee for the Keurig.”

Teresa was an excellent host, she left us a welcome letter, a property manual, suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, a very quiet neighborhood. I only recommend putting salt on the entrance stairs to prevent snow accumulation and avoid an accident. For everything else. Wonderful experience”

”I went for a week of skiing/snowboarding at Palisades/Alpine. Very convenient location and a real easy drive to the slopes and into Tahoe City. The owners will respond quickly to any questions. I recommend this unit.”

”This property was wonderful! Granlibakken is perfectly located near to my favorite west shore restaurants and hikes while also being a quick drive to Tahoe city and Palisades.This studio is very well equipped and comfortable. My only complaint is that I was unable to use the fireplace. That was an unexpected disappointment. The listing should state that there is no usable fireplace.Overall, a lovely and comfortable stay!”

”Renee’s property was great, right on the outside of the village, away from all the foot traffic. Everything (bars/ restaurants/ shopping) within 5-7 minute walk. 2 hot tubs are very spacious, we never had issues finding space in them after a day on the slopes. The lifts are right outside the building, would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks for all of the great recommendations while we were in town- it was an A trip!”

”My only major objection is that we were not allowed to remain in the unit’s designated parking space after the 11:00 am checkout time. So because we wanted to ski until the afternoon of checkout day, we were required to move the car to a paid parking spot.”

”We enjoyed our stay in Tahoe. The unit was clean and well appointed. It was small. The bed was in an alcove of sorts - not really a room. It is a good size for a couple, more than that would be pretty crowded. The complex it is in was very quiet. ”

”This is a great unit. Very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. Only criticism is that the couch is oriented in a way that makes viewing the TV awkward. The fenced backyard and proximity to the groomed winter walking path makes this an ideal property for travelers with dogs. Location is convenient to Palisades and Tahoe City, We definitely would stay here again.”

”First off the listing said pool access and that’s main reason we chose this location. Arrived late in the evening. Next day checked the pools. Both we closed due to renovation. Spoke to Vacasa management and they said too bad. The local on site manager said that your reservation company should know the amenities. Tried for four days to get a resolution and still none. I’ve spent more time on the phone than enjoying my vacation. Also bugs and pet urine smell on rugs. Kitchen cabinet falling off...
