”I took my kids to help me celebrate Mother’s Day. Friday night , I realized my comforter had a musty , body odor scent . The comforter was not clean AT ALL! I noticed the from desk , the only thing they did was come in and remade the bed. How I know ? I left the musty comforter in the closet and was left witout a comforter and only sheets. Even though I brought my own face towels , their face towels were as dingy …I was disgusted ! I definitely won’t re-book this hotel .”

”Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, and I loved how close to town the Microtel is. The rooms are on the small size, but I think I really like the smaller rooms. ”

”The first room my son was given was actually occupied. There were suitcases, clothes, shoes, toiletries. The second room we were given was not cleaned, there were footprints on the floor; a broom was outside our room. Water was dripping from the shower all night. You could also hear the pipes running. The worst part was the construction going on, and the everyday noise pollution. Breakfast was ok, but not much variety.”

”The pool closed for maintenance during our stay. We were not aware of this when we booked. They drained the pool water out the back door to a creek. Meanwhile, the doors were open to the cold so we could not even use the lounge area. Very disappointed. This was our third time to visit the property. No problems prior.”

”The room is a decent size but lacks drawer space. The bed was a bit too hard for me, although my husband liked it. The shower was a nice size but had low water pressure. The room was quiet and kept cool. My biggest complaint was the parking situation. I understand the intention of maximizing space, but the parking spots are extremely tight and difficult to navigate, especially when people do not pull all the way forward or have larger vehicles. The management even had a sign advising guests to...

”It is a nice hotel, conveniently located, and very clean. We had everything needed for the stay, and the only odd thing was that the declared hours of operation of the cafe and bar did not match the real hours when we were there; they closed a couple of hours earlier in the evening.”

”This Howard Johnson's is now run by Best Western, and seemed to be intertwined with at least one other hotel, and was a little confusing. Once we found we could park in the tiny lot in the back, where our room was, it was super easy to get in and out. Everything was clean and it's only a couple blocks to walk to town.”

”Very clean, cute decor, pool looked pristine even though we didn't swim. We wouldn't stay anywhere else! Everyone gets an assigned parking spot. Rooms large and have a table and chairs. I cannot say enough good things about this motel. Oh yes- fire pit to relax by at night and adorable Adirondack chairs. ”
