”Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron.
Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. ”

Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks.
Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town.
Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do.
Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”

”A lovely welcome by the reception staff. No problems with the room and had a good breakfast.
The only very small thing I noticed was some not very clean public areas, such as the stairs and the outside windows in the staircase (very dirty). Hokwever, they did not affect our stay.
Slightly disappointed that we had to pay for hotel car parking.
Very central location, handy for the city centre and easy to navigate to.”

”We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...
