”Nice accommodation. Nice view. Walking distance to shops. Nice and clean. Bit inconvenient having no internal access indoors, especially with young children. Could do with more lounge style seating upstairs. We had no bedside tables in our room. Would have been nice to have window coverings on upstairs window facing street, where the dining table was located. room.”

”Our stay as two families with teens at “Chilling Lakeside” was truly relaxing (mid Dec 2024). The booking process was easy, and communication with the gracious hosts was excellent. The house was well-equipped including entertainment for the adults / teens, good books and amazing views with stunning sunsets enjoyed by the jetty and around the firepit. Pelicans coasting along the water and friendly little ducklings were a joy. The nearby Coastal and Co takeaways had the best burgers and our trip...

”We enjoyed our stay. Perfect place for our group of 8. Separate areas to escape and enjoy our different interests. Beds were heavenly comfortable. We enjoyed the french country charm of the decor. It was extra charming having the cellar door next door where we could slip in and sample the wonderful wines of Bonvilla in front of the cosy fire and be educated by the lovely and friendly cellar manager. We will be back!”

”A beautifully spot in the Hunter - we really enjoyed our stay. The location and views are just stunning. So peaceful. Kids loved making use of the grounds to play soccer and ride their bikes. They were so happy just being kids. It was a bit chilly for the pool but the spa (with a view!) was awesome and enjoyed by all of us. The property management was quick to respond and resolve (e.g new gas bottle for BBQ). Only comment I'd make is that the property is not that well maintained. Quite a few...

”Not really a luxury accommodation, but very good quality place to stay. Close to vineyards, golf courses and other attractions. Abdolutely beautiful view over Hunter Valley, old buildings create a pleasant athmosphere. No outdoor pool, but indoor pool in spa premises is a big one. Sauna is way too mild and not in good shape. We really loved our time here althought it's a bit pricey.”
