”I ended up alone in the penthouse for 3 nights and it felt like a vacation get away instead of a place to stay while visiting family. Beautiful view of Mt. Hood. Kitchen had everything I needed to bake a Thanksgiving pie. Walked to dinner at Henni’s on Weds. night and the White Salmon Bakery on Saturday.”

”Perfect location, kitchen and set up for me to work and hike from. Super well kept. The hosts are great to respond. There is no noise insulation - I heard everything above and beside me and my neighbors were unhappy that I was working (on calls) early on a holiday week / weekend. They tell you on arrival (not before booking) that the building has a very sensitive smoke alarm - it went off twice while I was there because other guests cooking (burnt stuff). ”

”Arrival was a breeze and the people we met were friendly. This was a quiet little place to return to post adventure with a well stocked kitchen, and the hosts were very communicative and the digital guest guide was well organized. Bonneville Dam was a wonderful tour and the food in Cascade Locks was great. Highly recommend white water rafting with Wet Planet. Many of the suggestions in the digital guest guide were appreciated. (Sidenote about the shower - holy cow talk about water pressure! Lol...

We left a day early as we were ready to get back to the luxuries of a full kitchen and indoor bathroom, but we did enjoy the cozy fires in the stove and the walks down to the Sandy River every day. Skiied one day at Timberline and just rested and relaxed. Oh, the bed is actually a double, which was a bit uncomfortable for my 6'3" husband, but we made...
