”From the first communication with Shari, I knew this would be a good visit. What I didn't realize was how magical the experience would be. Shari welcomed us to the house and gave us a bit of history. It was the perfect setting for celebrating the Christmas holidays with family: my son and daughter-in-law, their newborn son, my elderly in-laws, and my DIL's parents. Many happy memories were made in this historical house on the river. It was a visit we will never forget!”

”My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait...

”We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location.”

”Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private. ”The person at the desk when we checked in was amazing!! Her personality, sense of humor and her calmness were first rate! The lobby was full of people who were staying there for a youth volleyball tournament in town! She was unflappable! Calm, focused and conversing with me as she checked us in! She's a gem! Everything thing was very good, except there were only 2 kleenex in the box in our room. With colds and allergies killing me, was a bit disappointing. ”
