”This is a wonderful modern hotel. The room was great, great views. Friendly staff. An awesome wellness area. Great dinners and the breakfast was amazing. They will pick you up and take you to the train station for a fee. Easy to get there by taking the gondola to Furi and then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Would love to go again!!”

”Kiva tunnelma, hieno sijainti. Valitettavasti kaunis vanha aamiaishuone ja ruokasali eivät olleet enää käytössä vaan aamiainen tarjoiltiin uudessa Tannenhofissa. Huone oli myös aika kuuma, KPH:n patteri oli koko ajan täysillä eikä venttiilin säätö auttanut. Mutta onneksi oli ikkunat joista saattoi tuulettaa. Ja hienoa että oli iso amme ja tilava huone. 👍”

”We spend one night there. The hotel is right in the center of Grindewald, about 5min walking distance from the train station. The view is great and the spa area with infinity pool was the main reason we chose this hotel. During our stay the weather was rainy and cloudy so spa worked as a good backup plan to spend the day. The other parts of the hotel are outdated and our room just looked old and a bit dirty. The breakfast was ok and service as well. ”

”The hotel was clean, staff was courteous and very responsive to our needs / questions, ski storage was good and included breakfast ample. Access to slopes was walkable, but a bit of a hike each morning with equipment and actually getting onto slopes to ski took a while (almost an hour) to closest slopes. Views of Matterhorn only from upper floors of property - we were on 1st floor and had no views from our family room reservation - which was effectively two rooms across the end of the hall from...

”This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly.”
