”The property was so clean and the breakfast staff and maids were always wiping things down. The check-in ladies were great and very helpful. The only downfall was you had to book two nights online and they price was very high because of activities in town. I was very surprised that so many rooms were empty. I think because they made you book two nights and really high for small town.”

”The rooms were nice, although the beds were too soft for me. The common areas were nice and comfortable. The kids used the pool and enjoyed it. Breakfast was decent. Unfortunately the TVs did not work properly. Overall a good stay!”

”I cannot recommend this location in Belle Plaine, Minnesota. The room was very dirty. The hot tub was unusable and the guests were unruly until wee hours of the morning. The windows have never been washed. The hot tub had filth coming out of its jets and the bottom of the bed frame looks like it had never been wiped down. The place is definitely in need of some TLC and for what I paid a night $169. I am completely unsatisfied.”

”The motel needs updates paint etc.The room was clean except for a spider in the bathtub. The hall way to the room the carpet was wet therefore left a musty smell.”

”Super clean! Best Motel we've stayed at-half of the rooms include an attached garage! Huge room & bathroom with walk in shower. NO breakfast was included, even though it is listed when booking.”

”When I arrived, the hotel smelled very clean. There was someone at the front desk to help me right away and it was an easy process. The breakfast offered hot and cold options. I would stay at this hotel again.”

”When you rent a hotel room you expect it to be cleaned daily unless otherwise told. It is utter nonsense to come back to your room and have it not clean and told that's the policy. We pay to have our room cleaned. You can ASK if we don't need it done, but the assumption is to clean. Anyone else tired of feeling like they need a lawyer to get anything done on the most basic level?”

”Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms and an attentive staff on the grounds of a boarding school that dates to the mid 19th century. Highly recommended!”

”Comfortable stay, nice property. Communication prior to arrival on Expedia was non existent. The nightly rate was fair for what you get, if your getting your own bathroom. The fees were high. You are charged double fees for using Expedia and a card ($18). Couldn't get the TV to work, it was a cold breakfast not a hot one fyi. Guests have to present for owner to run your card. Not sure why that is either if your card is on Expedia. Thank you for the accommodations. ”

”About as good as the photos show. The carpet was dirty and needs to be replaced. There were some bugs (doors are exterior so to be expected, I guess?), but no bed bugs. Sheets seemed clean. There was a spider and web over one bed. Queen beds (2) were each up against a wall or window on one side, so small. Everything was very old and smelled old. We think the paint on the outside is new. The woman who runs the motel is very sweet and we can tell she’s trying hard. Making updates where she can....
