The best way to celebrate turning 60!
Montisi is a quaint village that is anywhere from 10 minutes to one hour drive to fabulous hill towns and wine tasting. The house is simple but charming. We spent most of our time while at the house by the pool, dining on the terrace and enjoying the beautiful views and sunsets. The kitchen is well appointed and with 4 women, we each enjoyed having our own bathroom. Luigi is a gracious host and provides excellent recommendations. I have every intention of returning! Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Perfect place for relaxing and enjoying Tuscan life
The property exceeded my expectations. Four of us settled in comfortably and enjoyed the beautiful countryside right outside the door. The furnishings were very good and the kitchen well-equipped. The house is a 15-20-minute walk from the center of Montisi. And it is located for easy drives to Montepulciano on the east and Montalcino on the west. Luigi was very helpful on all fronts, from check-in to check-out. We are all poised for a return visit.

Wunderschönes Haus mitten in der Toskana
Das Haus ist genauso, wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Traumhafter Blick und ruhige Lage, mitten in der Bilderbuch-Toskana! Am schönsten waren die Sonnenuntergänge auf der Terrasse. Viele schöne Städte wie Pienza oder Siena sind innerhalb kürzester Zeit erreichbar. Der Vermieter hat uns herzlich empfangen und kurz eingewiesen. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Familienurlaub in der Villa Sant'Anna. Der Pool war herrlich zum Abkühlen und Relaxen bei heißen Sommertemperaturen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt in 2 tollen Wochen. Was für ein tolles Ambiente! Montisi ist ein schöner malerischer Ort, der sehr gut als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge geeignet ist. Siena und Montepulciano sind sehr gut erreichbar und auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Luigi hat wunderbar geklappt - vielen herzlichen Dank für alles! Das Haus befindet sich inmitten der für uns schönsten Landschaft der Toskana, unweit wunderschöner kleinerer Dörfer und Städte mit viel Fläir, alle in kurzer Fahrzeit erreichbar. Trotz des eher schlechten Wetters (ungewöhnlich für die Jahreszeit) haben wir uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt, Luigi ist ein sehr aufmerksamer und zuvorkommender Gastgeber, der sich sehr um die Gäste kümmert. Wir erhielten viele Tips und Links per Whatsapp, die sehr hilfreich waren. In Sinalunga, 15 min mit dem Auto, gibt es ein Einkaufszentrum mit einem riesigen Coop und Lidl, dort haben wir alles für den täglichen Bedarf eingekauft.Die unglaubliche Ruhe und die magischen Aussichten an Haus und Pool haben uns bezaubert. An Regentagen bietet der riesige Fernseher mit Netflix, Prime und YouTube Kino-Atmosphäre. Anregungen und Vorschläge nimmt Luigi immer gerne entgegen, und kleinere Beanstandungen wurden sofort erledigt.In der Küche z.B. könnte der Bestand an Geschirr und Töpfen etwas erweitert werden. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub.

Beautiful stay in Tuscany
We had a wonderful week in this lovely location! The house was beautiful and immaculate. It worked perfectly for our family of 5. The garden and pool were beautiful. Luigi was very helpful with any concerns. The surrounding countryside of rolling hills and cypress trees was exactly what we had dreamed of when we wanted to visit Tuscany. Great location close to many beautiful towns. We would absolutely love to return one day.

Lovely villa in the heart of Tuscany
This is a beautiful villa with amazing views. The pool is very nice but it was too cold to use. Á comfortable home except for the beds (too firm) and the heat. We were told we would have to pay extra for heat & turned it off but the bedrooms were still hot. We loved being there despite these issues. It’s centrally located but you do a lot of driving to visit the area. Try Vino Portofranco in Montisi.

Amazing week in this house!
What a week! This Tuscan house was just what we needed. The views from the property were absolutely gorgeous – think rolling hills, vineyards, and some truly epic sunsets. We loved hanging out in the yard, it was super nice and just perfect for chilling with a glass of local wine. The house had everything we could possibly need, it was really comfortable and felt like a home away from home. And the small towns nearby were so cute, we had a blast exploring them. Friendly people, tasty food, and lots of cool little shops to check out. We totally fell in love with the place and can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a spot in Tuscany, I'd definitely recommend this one! And Luigi, the host, was so kind and thoughtful. We felt taken care of - thank you for everything, Luigi!

Tolle, erholsame Woche
Wir waren zwei Paare zwischen 50 und 60 Jahren, und wollten eine erholsame Woche in der Toskana verbringen, das hat geklappt. Sehr netter Vermieter, immer erreichbar, hat sich diskret gekümmert und gute Tipps gegeben. Zentrale Lage, mit dem Auto kann vieles schnell erreicht werden. Zu Fuss eher schwierig. Toller, sauberer Pool. Filterkaffemaschine vorhanden, unbedingt Filter mitnehmen, die sind kaum erhältlich 😉. Einziges Manko: Die naheliegende Strasse nach Montisi, welche zu Stosszeiten für unser Gefühl ziemlich stark befahren ist. Mobiliar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber in Ordnung.

Familienurlaub in der Toskana
Die Lage ist traumhaft schön, inmitten der Toskana. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind wie gemalt und bleiben unvergesslich. Das Wohnhaus verkörpert die toskanische Lebensweise und ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Highlight ist natürlich der große Pool. Während unseres Aufenthalts waren es zeitweise fast 40 Grad, aber wir haben auf dem Gelände immer ein Fleckchen im Schatten gefunden. Es war alles sehr gut gepflegt und sauber. Ein großes Dankeschön an den Vermieter Luigi, der uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand und immer erreichbar war. Wir können das Objekt sehr weiterempfehlen und würden hier nochmal unseren Urlaub verbringen.

Idyllic setting for a Tuscan holiday
The location of this property set in the rolling hills, secluded, and not overlooked was magical. We loved our one week stay! The views are unbelievable and the home is super charming. We cooked, swam in the clean and beautiful pool, had coffee on the patio as the sun came up, and toured around to Tuscan towns and wineries. Montisi is postcard perfect and we enjoyed Ilaria at the wine bar and Da Roberto for lunch(book and go with an open mind!). Luigi was always responsive and is such a hard worker - we saw him not only taking care of the beautiful garden at the house, but also cutting hay, herding sheep, and was was always so kind answering our questions. This villa is a gem and we hope to return one day. Thank you Luigi!

Beautiful Villa
We cannot recommend this Villa highly enough. We stayed there one week with our three kids and it was absolutely perfect. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed the house and especially the sorroundings very much. The host Luigi is a delight, he is so helpful and nice. The Villa is also a great starting point to visit the sorrounding beautiful cities. We will definitively be back!

Fantastic house with beautiful views
This beautiful house is situated on a perfect location, with a great view over the Tuscan hills of the Val d'Asso. It is just a 15 minute walk to the center of the nice town of Montisi. By car, it is easy to visit well known places like Florence, Pienza and Siena. The biggest surprise to us was the Val d'Asso itself; with its beautiful hills and small towns like San Giovanni d'Asso, Asciano, Buonconvento, Rapalano Terme, Trequanda and of course Montisi. The living room is very spacious with two comfortable couches. The kitchen looks somewhat outdated, but is well equipped (oven, microwave, dishwasher, large refrigerator). Highlight is the large garden with the swimming pool that provides a stunning view over the hills. The garden is great for dogs. Last but not least: the host - Luigi - is very friendly and helpful.

Most relaxing vacation in a beautiful villa
Luigi's villa is a dream! The views, the location, the pool, the whole package is nothing short of perfect. Luigi is an amazing host, always there when needed with good tips and help. The villa is kept impeccable. The grounds are well maintained. We loved sitting outside and enjoyed the views of the rolling tuscan hills. We will for sure be back and can highly recommend the Montalcino Villa in Montisi. Grazie Luigi for a wonderful time!
