”A Fascinating and perhaps haunted hotel off the beaten track. You will drive through the beautiful mountains to get there and it’s located in the shadow of an ancient Abby. The staff is lovely, the food at the in-house restaurant is great. And definitely get a bottle of the house red (it’s amazing). You will not be sorry you made this journey. ”

”Podere Castallare is in a beautiful location. Unfortunately we did not have a relaxing stay. Music was played at full volume directly into our bedroom from the bar from around 4pm - 11pm every day. It was so loud we could not spend time in our room. The air conditioner was broken and not fixed. We were treated rudley at dinner by the manager, which added to the tension in the atmosphere.”

”Purtroppo la struttura non aveva ricevuto la nostra prenotazione da HOTELS.COM, per cui non aspettavano ospiti (o meglio, il gruppo che doveva andare ha per fortuna cancellato all'ultimo momento e non sapevano nulla del nostro arrivo). Non siamo riusciti ad avere acqua calda e a mettere in funzione i condizionatori per avere il riscaldamento, ma siamo stati bene in quanto la notte non era per niente freddo. La Signora che ci ha accolto è stata molto gentile. Il posto è splendido, sono certa...
