”We loved our stay at the Tropicana. The room was large, clean and our junior suite had both a full kitchen and an amazing balcony overlooking the ocean. Room- decor was nice, space was clean, and very functional. Not as many frills as some places, but uncrowded, beautiful beach, reasonable food, and excellent location and service made this a place we will return to!”

”The hotel's location is on top of a hill overlooking the city & waterfront which provides spectacular views. The pool & breakfast areas as shown in the photos are open to all residents which alone provide views worth the price. The streets leading to the hotel are very narrow & require some skill to navigate a vehicle. If you aren't comfortable driving in tight corners, it might be advised to take a cab rather than rent a car. The hotel is also within short walking distance to the Malecon &...

”Location is excellent close to bars, restaurants, clubs, beach etc. Our room looked out to adjacent property which was an eyesore! Cleaning staff were excellent. Pools & rooftop deck were well maintained. Would be nice to have a few more umbrellas for shade. Room itself was clean & spacious, would add either a microwave or toaster oven to the kitchenette.”

”I was the for a family trip, funeral, so not really likea yea so fun. But it was a great place. Beautiful and clean. One thing that was not relaxing hot boiler went out so we had to take a cold shower at 5:30 am which is not fun in 50° degree weather but hey I grew up in Ensenada so I get it but did suck. It had a kitchenette with dishware and plates and mimi fridge which was pwrfect. Grocery store, restaurants, and bar just walking distants. Really close to downtown. So if on a fun trip perfect...

”We had a privilege to spend a week in this paradise! From the moment we arrived everything went smoothly and we felt ourselves welcome. The hotel is new and has a great ambiance. The pool was warm and cozy and most of the time totally quiet. You can use it until 11pm which is nice. The location is perfect if you want serenity and it is easy to take a bus or cab to the hussle of the city if needed. We would definitely stay here again anytime! =)”
