”We have stayed at The Victory three times now, it is very convenient if you want to go out for food around West Mersea and don't want to worry about driving. Plus it is close to the seafront walk of West Mersea Beach. Rooms are very clean, plus you have the advantage that they are part of a pub, therefore the ability to step down for a drink or food at any point.”

”This hotel was just perfect with sea view and a great balcony. Hotel was clean also,but it could of done with more coffee in room and little fridge with water and others drinks in ect.... A dressing grown and slippers for more of a comfortable touch would just be perfect and a grate finish overall the staff was very nice and helpful, look forward to are stay again.”

”We were unaware that we were staying in a maisonette, if known we would’ve asked questions upon booking. Hotels.com needs to update the owners phone number. Communication could’ve been better prior to arrival day, but overall it was great on the day. The apartment was very clean, lovely layout and well presented, although signage could’ve been a bit more professional. ”Friendly staff and good location. Nearby restaurants and within walking distance of adventure island. The family room has two separate bedrooms which is great. Slight downsides is the room was a bit tired and had slight damp smell. Also there is no blind in bathroom although the glass is obscured you would be able to see through the window from the houses across the street at night.”
