”Firstly I would not recommend this place to stay to anyone.
On the plus side the room was clean but any so called amenities were pretty basic for what was described as 4 star.
To be told on arrival by the manager/chef/barman/probably everything this as he seemed to be the only person on the premises, that there was no food due to no delivery was a bit of a blow. Then be told that an English breakfast was going to be an additional £8 per head also didn't go down well. We were informed that...

”UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that.
Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed.
Excellent breakfast.
To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor.
One less robust pillow would have been nice.
There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark.
I would definitely stay again.”

”Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear.”

”Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!!
And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended”
