The staff was not helpful, rude actually. I drove all the way from Adelaide, when I checked in he did not give me a parking card at first. Please note that there is no parking space beside the hotel. We have to use Wilsons parking on Flinders street. When I asked for the parking space, the receptionist reluctantly gave me a Wilson parking card, which did not work when I went to the parking. Since I checked in late, I could not inform the receptionist about the parking card that day. Next day when I talked to the receptionist about that parking card not working, he told me the instructions of using the car park are written on a board at the wall beside him. I told him I did read them and they do not help as the card does not work. He told me to call the Wilson parking. Note that the the card was from Wilson and the City Square Motel name was on it.
And I did talked to the Wilson employee at the parking gate and he told me I need 2 cards, one for entrance and one for exit. I only had one card which said that it is to be used when exiting.
I ended up paying for the parking which was 111 AUD, I checked in around 5:30 pm and checked out at 10 am the next day.
