Upea merimaisema-elämä rannalla, kultainen alue

Puhdas ja mukava, 2 makuuhuoneen 2-kylpy nurkkahuoneisto keskustassa Gold Zone 7. ja 8. kerroksessa näkymät merelle ja saarille vain merellä. Olohuone ja makuuhuone ovat rannan tuntumassa merinäköalalla. Condo nukkuu, 8 henkilöä. Pieni mutta hyvin toimitettu keittiö ja mukava ruokailutila, johon mahtuu 8. Kävele moniin ravintoloihin aivan rannalla tai ota kätevästi bussi, taksi tai Uber talon edessä tutustua kaupunkiin. Mukava uima-allasalue (uima-allas on lämmitetty ja pieni) pienellä mutta mukavalla ravintolalla paikan päällä aamiaista, lounasta ja täydellistä baaria varten. Yksikköämme on hiljattain päivitetty uusilla lattiat, ikkunat, wc ja huonekaluverhoilu.

The check in process was a little confusing but everyone was able to accommodate appropriately. All conversations with the owners were smooth and respectful. Our big group loved it and would stay again!

Enjoyed our Mazatlan vacation
Our second year staying at Islays del Sol in the Golden Zone. An older building on the beach front in a great area. Walkable to many restaurants and shopping. The restaurant on site is worth a try, the food and service is great.

Nice stay in Mazatlan
A lot of good things to say about the property, starting with the great views of the ocean and beach from this end unit. Lovely beach to walk along. The building is older but clean, heated pool, nice restaurant on the property as others have pointed out. Building staff (desk, cleaning and maintenance) are great. Comfortable bed. The surrounding area has a good selection of restaurants within easy walking distance. We took a cab to Walmart a few times for groceries when we didn't feel like eating out. The presence of a nearby bar that has music going until 4 a.m. some nights was known in advance since another reviewer mentioned it. Light sleepers might find it annoying. Something we didn't expect was the almost daily cacophony of loud "Banda" music from numerous bands on the beach, from noon until dark. Search online travel forums for a description of Banda. One either likes it or doesn't. This affects ALL properties along the beach, not just this unit, so no fault of the owners.

misleading description of property.
No hot water in one bathroom. Hole in ceiling of en suite shower. No potable water available when checking in. Inside of condo was not very clean. Hotel staff taking inventory upon check in of towels and bath mats in the unit and having me sign the inventory sheet (very low class). No dish towels, sponge or dish detergent. My experience was so bad that I may not use VRBO again.

Great place to stay in Mazatlan
We enjoyed our week in Mazatlan. The unit has an amazing view of the ocean and beach. The building though older has a great restaurant, ocean front patio and pool. It allowed us to walk on the beach to many nearby restaurants and shops. There is a wonderful super market a short walk away. We’ll be back to enjoy it again next year.

Great Views
Nice, roomy unit. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful ocean view from living area & master bedroom. Very good location. Friendly & helpful employees. Great communication with owners! On the down side, the unit was very dirty when we checked in. Food under the table and dirty floors up & downstairs. The unit could use some new pillows. Although there are numerous to choose from, all but one was lumpy. Both bathrooms & bedrooms are on the lower level. The stairs are a bit narrow & steep which we were fine with, but good to know up front if you have mobility issues. These negatives are all pretty minor & could be overlooked on a short stay. However, nothing can be done about the nightclub half a block away that blares music until 3:00 a.m.! The couple in the ocean side was kept awake by the music even with the sound of the crashing waves! It’s really loud.

2nd stay here
This condo is perfect for me when I travel from the US to visit my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter who currently live in Mazatlan. Plenty of space, kitchenette, and spectacular views. We celebrated granddaughter's 1st birthday down by the pool. We reserved the outdoor grill and shaded pavilion. Planning return trip for 2023 already!

El departamento es excelente, increíble vista, amplio y muy cómodo. A las áreas comunes del edificio les falta mantenimiento y son poco funcionales. La alberca es muy pequeña y no cuenta con chapoteadero. En la cocina hace falta un escurridor para secar los platos limpios, está muy bien equipada, el servicio de limpieza e internet son buenos, los aires acondicionados funcionan muy bien. Tiene su acceso directo a la playa. El edificio está muy bien ubicado. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia con ustedes.

Host were excellent about providing pre trip info. Spacious condo, great front desk folks, loved our stay. Only drawback was there were no lounge chairs so no place to layout by the pool.

Super Convenient Spacious Oceanview Condo
While being an older unit, this condo has everything that one would require for short to extended stays. Great restaurant on the pool level, easy room access with your groceries, fantastic views, & great AC. Negatives are a smaller pool that gets crowded at popular times and the cabinet with all of the best and important kitchen supplies was locked. My partner was very frustrated but the nice guys working in the lobby opened it up for us around midnight the day we arrived. The beds are also all very soft so we had to pull off the pillow tops on some of them. Everything else rocked especially the easy communication with the owners and their representative. I was able to fish from the seawall by the pool. So convenient. A+++

Pros and Cons
Check-in was a breeze. Property dated, but clean. Small pool. Poolside drinks are weak. Food is pretty good especially for the price. William is great. That said, we could never use the master shower. It flooded. Told maintenance twice. Nothing. Showers took running the hot water for 10-15 minutes in either shower to get hot. Maintenance claimed it was normal. Nice lady in the building who has lived there over twenty years explained the hot water is always an issue and told me to just roll with it. She was great. The views are amazing. We opened all the windows and the ocean was basically in our living room. Cooking was a challenge on the two very small stove top eyes. I tried straddling the two with my big frying pan, but it wasn’t great. The fridge keeps everything wonderfully cold. We always had black feet walking around the condo. They mopped when we asked, but still black. Not dirty - black. We kept wet towels by the bed to clean our feet on before getting into bed. The bedroom closet had a lock for security. The key did not lock it. Told maintenance twice. Nothing. Consider how to secure valuables. We found this to be our biggest problem. We won’t rent here again, but it was an overall nice experience. I’ve tried to make this a fair and balanced review. Thank you.

Amazing view
Check in and check out was super easy and the view of the condo is amazing it's also beach front which it's a plus! Pool is a little small but we didn't mind since we we spent most of the time out and about. Property is on the older side so nothing fancy. We will most definitely be coming back and staying here just for the view.
