”This was our second visit. This is a really well-designed and characterful small cottage with a large (and warm!) private pool a short distance across the garden. There are fabulous views of the lower part of the White Peak area from the cottage, and walks from the door or from Ilam - a couple of miles away. The hosts offer a warm welcome. ”We frequently stay in holiday properties and so know what you can get for £140 / night and sadly this was not up to the standards we would expect. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. ”Had a great stay for my husbands 50th, the host put banners up, and a bottle of Prosecco.The cottage was lovely and well equipped, had everything we needed! Weather was amazing so we did lots of walking with our doggie. Great position for loads of different walks from your doorstep. Local pub is ok, we also stopped at a few on our walks.
