”Beautiful Serene and private cottage, immaculately clean, all the amenities you need and more, they have truly thought of everything. The bed and linen top quality and very comfy. All the little extras, the gift basket, eggs, cheese etc were amazing and truly appreciated.”

”We spent 7 nights at Moana Cove and felt like we had been transported to a far away island, except it was just a hop, skip and a jump away! We loved walking through the bush to beaches, kayaking through the mangroves, walking through Mansion House, visiting the boat club for a meal is a must! And lazy sunny afternoons reading and watching the tide go in and out. Sharon and Rob were great hosts, giving us privacy but always incredibly helpful if we needed anything. Hope to be back!”

”Nice little cottage with charme, lovely decorated and well equipped. It had everything we needed. Short walk to a nice quiet beach, but way back is steep. We felt at home and loved the little treats like fresh flowers.”

”Loved the country atmosphere, peaceful and quiet. Cottage had all the mod cons. Very roomy with two bedrooms and bathroom laundry, we made use of. Easy access to shops and restaurants, and of course the starry nights topped it off. Thanks Sue for letting us stay there….”

”A short stay of 2 nights, house provided everything we needed for a girls weekend getaway. Linen and towels supplied. Spacious bedrooms (3) plenty of room for our shopping we achieved locally at Matakana. Would certainly stay again if in the area.”

We don’t mind things which are a bit shabby (carpet, paintwork, furniture, curtains) but we really like things to be clean! Don’t even expect hospital standards but not ….dead bugs, spiders, dust, cobwebs…. Hair and mould in showers, basins, bathroom mirrors splashed with someone else’s toothpaste….YUK. Kitchen equipment greasy and grimy. Also the downstairs bedroom was very damp and unaired and we had to move...
