'512 Beach House' on moderni, 3 makuuhuoneen / 2. 5 kylpy, rantahotelli avoimella pohjaratkaisulla, liian monta ikkunaa laskeaksesi, ja 3 isoa parveketta. Talo on levinnyt 2 ranta-alueelle ja sillä on 360 asteen näkymät rannalle ja kosteikkoille. Valtameri voidaan nähdä talon kaikista huoneista. Kuten yksi vieraistamme sanoi: "Kuvat eivät tee tätä talon oikeudenmukaisuutta."

Ensimmäinen kerros on täysin avoin pohjaratkaisu. Iso keittiö saari-istuimilla. Avoinna ruokasalille ja olohuoneelle. Sohva vetää tarvittaessa ulos queen-size-nukkujalle. On suuri turvatarkastus kuistilla keittiöstä, ruokapöytä ja sohva. Täydellinen paikka nauttia aamukahvia ja katsella pelikaanien lentää talon yli.

Yläkerrassa on 3 makuuhuonetta. Makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode ja oma kylpyhuone. Vierashuoneessa on myös king-size-vuode ja kylpyhuone ja kerrossänky. Kerrossängyssä on 2 kerrossänkyä (4 erillistä vuodetta) ja erillinen sohva, joka voidaan vetää ulos king size-vuoteeseen. Pohjapankot on aikuisten testattu ja hyväksytty. Vieraiden mukavuuden takaamiseksi en suosittele aikuisten vieraiden parhaita pankkeja.

Talo on kaunis ja tilava, ja ymmärrämme ehdottomasti houkutuksen kutsua kaikki ystäväsi nauttimaan, mutta meidän on säilytettävä tiukat korkeintaan 10 henkilöä (enintään 7 aikuista) kiinteistössä milloin tahansa. Emme salli juhlia tai kokoontumisia, joissa olisi omaisuutta lisähenkilöitä. Vaadimme kaikilta vierailta nimiä ja ikää ja varaukselle vierastunnista.

'512 Beach House' sijaitsee kätevästi vain muutaman minuutin päässä historiallisesta Matagordan kaupungista. Matagorda on piilotettu helmi, joka tarjoaa kävijöille monia aktiviteetteja, kuten kalastusta, lintujen tarkkailua, rantayhdistämistä, kuoret, uinti, surffaus, melonta ja tähtitaivaanpito. Long Weekend
Great getaway for a long holiday weekend. Views from the house are even better in real life. This community is “one with nature” given its close proximity to the dunes and the critters who live there, but still worth it.

512 is a very large home that can easily sleep two families of four with beautiful furnishings to make you feel spoiled. There are wonderful views of the beach from every room, and the porches are spacious for a gathering.

Great House to share
Booked this with friends and it turned out perfect. Place is better than the pictures show and it was one of the better stocked kitchens for cooking that I’ve seen. Management was very easy to communicate with and very attentive. They even had a new grill delivered to us out first night to replace the one broken by the previous renters just before it. I would definitely book this house again.

Location is perfect, away from the crowds, house is gorgeous, didn’t have any issues with the walk to the beach. The view from the top balcony is amazing. Kids want to make it a tradition every year to stay at 512. The owners were very kind and helpful, and that made the difference.

Great time in Matagorda
We stayed for 5 nights at this great home on the beach. We spent most days just lounging on the beach. We used our vehicles to drive back and forth to the beach. The home is well furnished and has many great decks for time at the house. There is even a screened in porch for when the bugs are bad. We would definitely recommend this house.

Great place except for the mosquitoes
Spacious house, huge kitchen, nice bathrooms! Really enjoyed the screened in porch and balconies and beautiful view. Watched the full moon rise over the water from the balcony. Used the grill a couple times. Picked up shrimp at the recommended shop in town. All enjoyable. The trek to the beach was further than we imagined and the mosquitos on the way were horrible. The only other time I’ve experienced mosquitos like that was in the Florida Everglades during the off season when no one goes there because of the mosquitoes. We began calling it “the mosquito gauntlet”. It was seriously insane. We attempted to drive to the beach instead but with the soft sand we couldn’t risk driving a regular car onto the beach. So if you want to take a shade canopy and chairs and such to the beach be prepared for a hike through water, swarms of mosquitos, big sticker burs and dunes. It’s basically a marsh and then dunes between the house and the beach. Other option is to make sure you have a vehicle that can handle soft sand so you can at least drive around onto the beach to set up your things. Perhaps it’s not as bad at other times of the year. We have had a good amount of rain this Spring.

Excellent beach getaway!
We loved our stay at the 512 Beach House. If you're looking for a nice, quiet, secluded beach getaway this is your place. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The outdoor patios and balconies were huge, and made for a wonderful space to enjoy the ocean view. While it was a bit chilly and windy due to the time of year, we enjoyed the private walking trail to the beach, and found the beach to be very clean with beautiful sand and as many seashells as you can collect. Our one wish for the property is that there were more "comfy" spaces to sit in the common areas (another couch or some cozy arm chairs would have been fabulous). Overall, we loved it. Abbey was responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We look forward to coming back again!

We had a great experience! The mosquitos and flooding prevented us from accessing the beach from our house on this trip but we intend to rent again in the future. House has gorgeous views and was well equipped.

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The long open living area made it easy to be together but still do our own things. The mosquitos between the beach and the house were overwhelming, but the beach was always in view due to the many windows and the gulf-facing deck, so we didn't really feel we were missing out.

The property NEVER disappoints!
This is our third time staying at this property and it never disappoints - from the small attention to details to the amazing view from every window. It was relaxing to wake to the sound of the waves crashing against the shore - would highly recommend for a family or friends vacation!

Must see to believe!
The photos do not do it justice. The main, dining and kitchen are huge with wonderful lighting (natural and indoor). Main deck as well as both upstair decks are perfect getaways to watch the surf with a glass of wine. Hosts are very attentive and have thought of everything. After 20+ years of going to Matagorda staying at 8 different houses this is definitely the winner. We plan to return for many years to come.

This house is huge and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with every utensil/pot/pan you will need. The view of the ocean is amazing from all parts of the house! My kids loved the bunk beds and games that were available.

Great, quiet beach!
We were amazed at how great and quiet the beach was even during Memorial Day weekend! The house was AMAZING - felt like we were staying in a high-end hotel! The walk over the dunes to the beach was doable with kids ages 8 and 10! Needed to wear shoes and it helped to have a beach wagon to carry all of our stuff! There is a beach entrance not far where you can drive your car on the beach, but we loved walking over the dunes to our own little slice of the beach! Matagorda has lots of activities - we went ghost crab hunting one night and kayaking one day. Cute little mom and pop type diner not too far away! Perfect spot for a family vacation! We would book again for sure!

Great family beach vacation
Our family of 4 had a great time staying at this property over spring break. The views from every room are incredible and the house is very open, clean and airy. The layout is perfect - our 2 kids (age 3 and 5) were able to play on one end of the open concept living space, and my husband and I could be near the kitchen enjoying our own conversation with them still nearby and in view. So many options to spend outside – whether on the beach, on one of the many decks, in a screened-in porch, in the backyard, or even in the space under the house. Abbey was an excellent host and provided so many resources for the area and things that we could do that I felt very well prepared to keep our kids entertained during the vacation. She was also incredibly easy to get in contact with and quick to respond. We definitely will plan to visit again.
