”Kate is a brilliant host and communication was excellent. There were 10 people staying and we had plenty of room. The cooking facilities were not really adequate for cooking a big dinner for 10 people but we managed. One of us is disabled and the ground floor en-suite really made our stay possible as a family. No private parking but we all managed to park near to the house. We had a lovely time. ”

”This tasteful and well appointed chalet with great facilities is very close to the seafront, which you reach through a nice back garden. Swimming here was great as the shelf is quite steep so you get a good amount of time either side of high tide. The place itself is a pleasure to stay in and we can't wait to come again.”

”Wir (Mein Mann, ich und unsere drei Töchter, davon ein Teenager und zwei erwachsen) waren über Silvester in diesem schönen Cottage. Die Lage war perfekt, ruhig, aber die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, ein Waitrose und ein Tesco Express ebenfalls. Dazu organisiert der Vermieter im Vorhinein einen überwachten Parkplatz, der nur 200 m entfernt ist, so dass man sich darum nicht kümmern muss. Bei der Ausstattung hat nichts gefehlt, alles war wie beschrieben bzw. noch besser...

”We had a wonderful three night stay at Garland's Retreat over the Easter weekend. The bungalow is very clean and had everything we needed (and more). It was a great base for us to explore Dover and Deal castles and we also managed a trip to Sandwich. Yes, the WiFi is patchy, sometimes non-existent, but it certainly didn't impact our break. I'm so glad we booked - it's a beautiful place to stay.”
