”Check-in was easy, and when the clerk did not know how to process my reservation (made through Hotels.com) he did the right thing to ask for help – quite professional. I chose this place as an inexpensive place to lay my head for one night; the cost felt like a bargain for the room I was getting. Certain parts of the hotel could use updating: cracks by the elevator call button, linoleum peel in the kitchenette (at least in my room), general unkemptness in the stairwells and exit corridors, etc....

”I liked out stay at HomeTown Inn by Red Roof East Syracuse. I was there with my Ukranian friend who was surprised there were also hotels in America with same quality as in hes country. I really liked the reception because there was Egyptian workers who gave the hotel international feeling since it is near the airport. There was also many locals staying at the hotel and especially there were very friendly american hiphop style singers hanging out at the front of the elevators. First they...

”Nothing unique. Hallways look like a prison. Room is pleasant. TV does not work. Staff is helpful. Breakfast a disaster: no fresh coffee unless you want to wrestle with a machine. No smell of fresh-brewed. Bagel stale. Waffle forgettable but makes you wish you had back the time it took to make it. ”

”Easy on and off highway. Mostly clean. Rooms not ready at check-in time, but with a later check-out and earlier check-in time, they seem to have set themselves up to disappoint customers. Due to rush to clean rooms, many tabletops in our room were visibly not cleaned thoroughly. Breakfast was okay. Very confortable sleep in comfy beds and quiet room.”
