”Stayed for one night to be able to quickly get the BGSU preview day. Location was perfect, neighborhood was very quiet. Home was very clean inside and out. The home is very small/cozy with updates in the kitchen and bathroom. We did have trouble getting the bedrooms to not to get to hot, halfway through the night we figure out how to keep the temp down. based on furnace set-up and uneven floors it was apparent the home had been added onto over the years. ”

”I grew up in Defiance, OH as did my spouse. We usually stay with my mom when we visit for the holidays but this time an elderly aunt got mom’s guest room so we debated as to either getting a hotel room for multiple days or a VRBO. I am very glad we chose staying at The General’s Quarters. It is a cozy place, with a lot of references to General Anthony Wayne, the inevitable founder of Defiance, OH. A perfect place for two or a family to stay at when visiting this city of 20,000 in NW OH.”

”The cabin was definitely a place where rustic meets modern! Bedding, bathroom & hot tub very clean. TV & microwave looked new. The rest of the place felt much more like a rustic cabin. Bathroom was very unique! My husband & I loved the quiet & were able to unwind in the hot tub under the bare trees of winter as the river gently rolled by. Just what we needed! ”This was such a cute property and a gem of a find! Couldn’t believe our luck in finding a place close to our son’s apartment. It was perfect for coordinating our BGSU visit. The basement “playroom” was used by our 1 year old granddaughter and our 20 year old kids. They loved the toys, games, WII, record player! So much fun! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub.
